sorry, no, i live the USA and am obligated to FIX it.if you don't like it, you move.

REAL patriots love their country enough to face its problems and try to fix them.

FAKE patriots deny the problems and thus make their country evil and stupid.

Well said!

[-] 1 points by booshington (397) 13 years ago

Exactly.

Fuck fleeing tyranny and oppression. It's time to fix it.

[-] 3 points by lyn123 (123) 13 years ago

If you don't like people voicing a different opinion, then you can move to a country where no one is allowed to voice one. Hey- try China. I heard they have all our jobs!

[-] 1 points by gagablogger (207) 13 years ago

Definitely.

[-] 3 points by Justice4All (285) 13 years ago

You move! You are the one who screwed up everything! You are the one who enables the 1% at the cost and expense of everyone else.

We love this country and the Constitution. You should move.

[+] -5 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

No - you love redistributive justice. you want what someone else has. Jealousy & class envy is what I see. I am in the 99% by the way.

[-] 2 points by cmt (1195) from Tolland, CT 13 years ago

Instead of leaving, we should have the guts to stand up for change, and that is what people are doing.

We need to outflank the 1% by voting against the candidates they choose to give the most to. A few losses and politicians will start paying attention to voters as well as deep pockets.

We need a grass-roots campaign to vote "away from Wall Street", like the brilliant "move your money" initiative.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

I agree - isn't that what the tea party is doing?

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

The tea party is just a new name for the same old racist, homophobic, God-fearin' abortion hatin' science distrustin' right wing greedbots--idiots like you.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

that was a very intellectual argument.

[-] 1 points by thoreau42 (595) 13 years ago

i loled.

[-] 1 points by cmt (1195) from Tolland, CT 13 years ago

If you like the idea, pass it along.

Believe me, I sometimes cannot figure out what some of the tea party is doing. In Mississippi, they seem to be moving toward banning the birth control pill. Go figure.

[-] 2 points by Justice4All (285) 13 years ago

No. You pretend, or have been convinced, that is the case. You need to move somewhere. If you do not like the Constitution, then move. If you do not like citizens involved in their government, then move.

We. Are. The. 99%. And. We. Are. Just. Getting. Started.

[-] 1 points by SmallBizGuy (378) from Savannah, GA 13 years ago

You said it correctly. It's pure "emotional jealousy" not "rational intellectual analysis" that drives a majority of the OWS crowd.

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

That's what you'd like to believe, because you have no concept of right or wrong, fair and unfair. What's your small business? How do you "earn" your money? You WORK HARD, right? What do you do? How'd you start your business? You think I'm jealous of you? You probably own the lamest shit and think you're special. Your interests are probably laughable. I'm quite certain I wouldn't trade my life for your lame ass life. But how'd you make your money? How?

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

Accusing people of jealousy and class envy is so idiotic. People who work hard for a living want to be paid a fair wage and have affordable health care instead of watching all of the wealth be funneled to the coffers of the few. You choose to call names instead of trying to understand the true message. Your brand of stupidity is what is wrong with this country.

[-] -1 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

define "fair wage"

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

A person who works hard, 40 hours a week, should make enough money to live a halfway decent life. Many don't, while the rich get richer. But you work at a fucking bank.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

how much is enough to make a halfway decent life?

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

Do you think $7.25/hour is enough? That's the minimum wage in 2011. I'd say $50,000/year sounds reasonable. There are 400 people in this country who, combined, are hoarding as much wealth as 150 million other Americans combined.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

so you $7.25 per hour jobs pay $50,000.00 per year or $24.00 per hour? Is that what your are saying?

[-] 0 points by JonFromSLC (-107) from West Valley City, UT 13 years ago

I like this

[-] 3 points by kampfhund (51) 13 years ago

Easier for 1% to leave than 99%.

[-] -1 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

I suppose the 99% will be fine without the 1% and there capital. Believe me - the one percent are leaving & taking their capital with them.

[-] 2 points by kampfhund (51) 13 years ago

Good for them? I'm sure with the ruckus they've created, the rest of the world might want a few words with them.

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

It's "their capital," idiot. No wonder you fall hook, line and sinker for every right wing distraction, you don't even know basic grammar.

[-] 1 points by StevenRoyal (490) from Dania Beach, FL 13 years ago

The 99% is everywhere. The 1% can run, but they can't hide.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

so you need the 1% ?

[-] 1 points by StevenRoyal (490) from Dania Beach, FL 13 years ago

No. They need to give back their stolen money to We the People who they stole from. They can run but they cannot hide from being brought to justice and going to jail.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

stole ? - please expand on your statement. How about the people who defaulted on their loan obligations? How about the speculative house flippers? There is enough greed to go around

[-] 2 points by StevenRoyal (490) from Dania Beach, FL 13 years ago

None of the 99% would have ever been defrauded in that manner without 1% inventions and manipulations like CDO's, Credit Default Swaps, repeal of Glass-Steagall, Commodity Futures Modernization Act, etc.

See here for more detail. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iebK7VVDayY

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

and the house flippers arent greedy? if they hadnt defaulted there would be no problem.

[-] 2 points by StevenRoyal (490) from Dania Beach, FL 13 years ago

Watch the whole lecture and learn. There is no way you watched the whole lecture in time for that comment.

[-] 2 points by KeepUpTheGoodWork (8) 13 years ago

This is a democracy - if you don't like it you try to change it

[-] 2 points by Rosemary2 (29) 13 years ago

So you're saying that our current government and financial systems are functioning perfectly and that to call any attention to their (non-existent?) flaws is something no citizen should ever do?

[-] -2 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

No - the process is to put pressure on your congressman Tea Party Style. This movement is a joke. If you cant articulate what you want you are being laughed off

[-] 1 points by 8472ofborg (100) from Bruce, SD 13 years ago

Sooo, if you have a problem, don't fix it, buy a new one?

[-] 1 points by ronimacarroni (1089) 13 years ago

I would if the US would stop exploiting and invading other countries!!

[-] 1 points by gagablogger (207) 13 years ago

You need to move since you apparently aren't supportive of free speech. Pack up your stuff and move to China. Bye.

[-] 1 points by DrGonzo71 (44) from Beijing, Beijing 13 years ago

It's a patriot's duty to petition for the redress of grievances.

[-] 1 points by unimportant (716) 13 years ago

Sorry, I think I can love the country this country can become. Since my family arrived in 1629 and fought in the first revolution and the civil war I think I will stay and fix my country.

You of course are free to help if you like.

-- I am simply unimportant

[-] 1 points by L3employee (63) 13 years ago

Have you been paying attention? We're talking about corrupt GLOBAL capitalism here, corporations as the new oppressors & tyrants. They're actually worse in many other countries, and no better in some of the best. So, unless you've got a starship & a map to viable planet handy....

[-] 1 points by e307465 (147) 13 years ago

Nobody likes Americans any longer so we might as well just stay here. Maybe if our government wouldn't try to occupy every country that disagrees with them, other countries may see us in a different light.

If you honestly think there is nothing wrong in America, I feel sorry for you. Change needs to happen, I just don't think OWS is going about it the right way.

[-] 1 points by Faithntruth (997) 13 years ago

If you don't like freedom of speech and a representative government, I suggest you should find yourself a nice little dictatorship to live in so you can feel unthreatened by difference. I prefer to stay and get my country back on the right track.

[-] 1 points by JeffCallahan (216) 13 years ago

so this dumb ass Figero thinks that when people strive to tear down everything our founding fathers fought to build we should turn our backs and walk away. He is the one that should move.

[-] 1 points by JeffCallahan (216) 13 years ago

"if you don't like it here move" just when I think people can't get any stupider.

[-] 1 points by Shalimar (167) from Martinsville, IN 13 years ago

Actually living in American gives us the right and DUTY to protest the justices we see. It doesn't take any strength to hide and pretend everything is perfect. The people behind OWS have enough courage to stand up for what they believe. The U.S. needs them.

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

It states in the constitution that the citizens of this country have an obligation to protest if they feel the need. You are unamerican, and an asshole. What do you do for a living?

[-] -1 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

hey protest all you want. Dont complain about your life as you stink up the park. Please - blaming others wont help you - look in the mirror.

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

Either you are deliberately misinterpreting/misrepresenting what the movement is clearly about, or you are a moron. In your original post you tell people protesting they should leave the country, a country you clearly despise and wish to contribute nothing to, then in your response you say protest all you want, so which is it? You fucking asshole. You tell me to look in the mirror even though you know nothing about me. You come to this forum to call people names and make bullshit accusations. What do you do for a living? How did you get your job? You came here with your fucking attitude, so we have a right to know where you're coming from. Spill the beans. I'm sure you are a hard worker who earned everything you have, so tell me how!?

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

I graduated near the bottom of my class in high school. I got a job as an apprentice carpenter, worked that for 5 years and lived in my parents basement. Work was not so steady & I realised I could not sustain a life with steady employment. So at 25 I took a four day course on bartending. Got a barttender job & went to junior college and majored in business administration. I then went to get a bachelors degree in social sciences. Now I've been steadily emplyed at a major money center bank for 18 years. Never called in sick, never late.

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

You work at a fucking bank.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

On behalf of the 99%; We, the people, do solemnly decree, that on this day 23/10/2011, that, We request a new form of govt., to work with the two party system devised by the Illuminati, or to replace eventually, the devised of the latter.

A planetary council of elders, elected by the people of the world, the 99% we nominate them, we choose them, 10 or any number above, to wisely, and with divine and galactic right, lead the people of the world to a future of • happiness at the expense of no other, • safety • and sound, 99% selected leadership, of our home to a compassionate, accepting and enlightened future, where each citizen of earth known, as Terra-Urantia be given, at the expense of the 1%, insofar as it will be free to each participating country’s citizens, for a start, the following:

  1. FREE health care for every citizen of the world (no hidden costs)
  2. Full solar and wind turbine electricity ONLY either for a private home off grid, at this stage, FOR FREE, forever.
  3. Electric Cars-THE SELF CHARGING VARIETY, you’ve been hiding, free, to every citizen of the world, and as each child reaches the age of 16 or 18, one free electric car, from their elders, for their birthday.
  4. Free education for each citizen of the world.

IF, these conditions are met over the next ten years, in conjunction with the Bohemian Grove time line, which we hope will include no more wars and only defense, three different futures are faced, two to be avoided, most to pass if aid given. But child slavery and prostitution must be abolished. As it is an unacceptable insanity. Corruption faced. Jobs must be given back to adult men and women. May all the nations hear and join. Nations elect leaders, many elders, from all walks of life, of faultless character, to encourage the 1% to agree and join us. Leadership can be really difficult sometimes, as we understand, with the criticism and the factions that seek to vocally criticize your lives, but questionable leadership will bring nothing else, and corruption will cause it, we ALL want Heaven on earth, not sodom and gomorrah. Above is the plan to help everyone achieve this, our (the 99%) monies, have been given, in taxes, over many years in good faith, to make you rich- these monies, we no longer want mismanaged and redistributed. Please hand our future to the Elders and ancestors that care for us; the 99%. Our Charity money and our taxes, we want, to work, this way. You KNOW how to sustain the market, work with our self selected Elders and us. This is not facism, nor communism, nor socialism, but sanity.

To the world, in good faith.

[-] 0 points by mrbill0626 (33) 13 years ago

I think the solution would be to vote out the tyrannical government that we have. If anyone else has a better idea then I would like to hear it. Most of you OWS people are probably too young to vote but you can influence those of us who do vote. see www.youthforronpaul.com if you are interested in making changes. But if you are just interested in crying about what's wrong with everything then I guess just keep doing what you're doing. There is a universal law that goes something like this: What we resist persists.

[-] -1 points by jgriff (6) from Tampa, FL 13 years ago

How about YOU leave

[-] -2 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

I am a freedom loving American. I require nothing of the collective. If you want to live in a communist country go ahead and move. I like living the country. Everyone in this movement seems like they hate it.

[-] 0 points by jgriff (6) from Tampa, FL 13 years ago

I love this country. And I love free markets. And capitalism. Republicrats deciding who the winners and losers are, are none of the things I just listed.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

What about Solyndra ? 500 Million down the tubes

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

Solar power is the future, idiot. The rest of the world is leaving us behind because morons like you insist on bending over for the oil companies. You fool.

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

Regardless, Solyndra still went bancrupt & the taxpayers are out 530M

[-] 1 points by LazyJealousAnarchist (144) 13 years ago

Did you vote for Bush...twice? Want to talk about how much money the taxpayers are out? Idiot.

[-] 0 points by jgriff (6) from Tampa, FL 13 years ago

Exactly. I said Republicrats. Whats your point? That the governement is deciding who the winners and losers are? Didnt I just say that?

[-] 0 points by figero (661) 13 years ago

Solyndra is all Obama - how are you tying the GOP to Solyndra and all the green companies going bancrupt stiffing the taxpayers stimulous money?

[-] 0 points by jgriff (6) from Tampa, FL 13 years ago

"Republicrats" How are you not following this? Screw Obama and hte Democras
