Then it should be obvious that they are unwilling to contribute ideas for a solution....just tell them to shut the fuck up.
Ignore them. It is a waste of energy, serves no purpose, and makes you sink to their level.

I disagree. These people are either uninformed or frightened by what they are seeing. I suggest using logical arguments, intelligence and eloquence. Saying 'fuck off' is basically what you find on Fox news outlets when they are upset with an opposing opinion.

No, we cannot assume that. What we have to do is remain focused on what the real issues are and every time you get a troll response it gives you an opportunity to respond with intelligence, logic and eloquence. Why? Because they would love to just paint everyone as a bunch of ignorant nay sayers and not thoughtful citizens who have intelligent intentions behind what they do. I agree with TJ. Don't feed the negativity.
