Forum Post: If the people who run this site don't care about it then why should I?

The noise level has gone through the roof. I've run online forums for long enough to know that it doesn't have to be this way. It is possible to moderate away the noise, IF you care about your online community. If enough people cared about maintaining a coherent discussion forum, then we would have one. We don't. Why should I care, if the people who run the site don't?
