It would have simply saved Him so much heartache.

I hope you are not making reference to Republicans. They seem to me to be the exact opposite of what that guy we call Jesus was all about.

If there is a God and we are made in its image then maybe it got Alzheimer's disease just like humans. Now it is wandering around in space muttering to itself "where did I put that place I was supposed to do something with?"

Why is God always a "Him"? doesn't that infer that there is a "her" somewhere out there too? If there is some sort of creator out there then it only set things in motion and really doesn't care what species evolves from the initial shove it gave to the universe.

My question is this. If God is so wondrous then why did the angels have a war at all? They supposedly could see this thing and yet they still decided to resist the game plan.

No. The idea of God is just the result of primitive minds trying to make sense of things they couldn't understand, and it is still true today.

No, I was watching something on Nature and the thought just struck me.

The reference has nothing to do with Republicans....didn't think about that one.

There is simply too much evil in the world today and I do not feel that America projects the hope for a better society and relationship between man that it once did.

Yeah. Humanity is the bane of Earth. If there was a God or some other celestial overseer, they would have ended this pathetic experiment long ago
