I love you guys, but( there's always a "but) we are going after Wall street which will not work. Here's why. Wall street is a Monolithic organization that is Not controled by the public. Wall street has a weak point though. Thier weapon of choice is Paid for Politicians. We can take away thier weapon. We have that right We have that power. In the 2012 elections we need to campain against, donate against and vote against Every incumbent. Regardless of party affiliation. If we do this in 2012 and 2014(mid terms) we will rock the foundations of corruption. I am a life long Democrat. I have always supported my party. I have contributed money, time and effort for Democratic candidates. Over the past 3 years I had to come to the realization that it was all a waste. Both parties are equally bought and paid for. We can take back our country. We only need to get rid of all incumbents. I Give you my word that I will campaign, donate and vote for any candidate running against an incumbent. I hope you will too.

If we make a determined effort to vote out incumbents it will negate the power of special intrest. It may take 2012 1nd 2014 to show a positive result for us. We can not convince legislators already bought to "bite the hand that feeds them" and do away with corporate personhood.

If it were as simple as removing the "bought and paid for politicians." These days it's tough to buy a politician. It's much easier to scare them.

For example, say you're running in a State Senate race. You may be able to raise a few hundred thousand. You speak your mind and garner public attention and support.

You also attract the attention of the special interests. They can bring the weight of millions to bear against you and demonize you in ways your worst enemy would never have thought of. The Supreme Court says they can do that, too.

So, in the light of facing the potential of being outspent and thus remaining a private citizen, said politician will fold and retire to the fold.

The problem is exacerbated when an incumbent is involved.

Until you remove the rights of corporations and incorporated special interests to act and be regarded as "real people" the problem will never go away.

Follow the path of "corporate liberation" in this country and you'll see the path to where we are today. They are legal fictions who only exist to return a profit to their shareholders. They do not deserve the rights of individual citizens.
