We need to find a way to bring our government back to being a by the people for the people group, not a by the few for the few group. Small steps ballot votes should list net worth amount spent on campaigning and income with each person running. Other ideas votes to drastically limit all forms of campaign spending. For every dollar spent on a campaign whether donation or by an individual an equeal dollar needs to be donated to a fund for the masses ( soc security, unemployment, education,medicare.aid). Large taxes on top executives and large corps doing business in the US who layoff workers or move work overseas. Big change it would be nice to have a house and a senate ...minority party would represent the rich at this point in one office and come from their peer group....other office would majority party would come from the middle lower class group and represent everyday man. Voting by the house/senate weight would be based on % population in the US who fall into the rich vs middle class/poor category measured thru census results. Thus if rich want more votes there would need to be a swing in evening out of income levels. Just idealist brainstorming

Change through the usual channels, meaning elections, is currently pointless.

A bloodless coup seems impossible, considering the size and scope of the military.

Crippling the banks will lead to a massive recession/depression, and the people will suffer, along with the rest of them.

The only path I can envisage would be to form a People's Party of centrists, and put up candidates in every state in the US of A.

Win enough seats, and you may have a chance at change for the better.

Keeping your electees free of the corruption already endemic in the system will be an ongoing battle.

There will be assassinations, and there will be bloodshed in the streets.

The alternative is a hundred times worse than this.

Step up to the plate and have a swing, or sit down and watch TV and slave away for someone else.
