An open thank-you letter to the moderators of OccupyWallSt.org
I run a small lobbying outfit in Washington DC. We were approached by a group of executives who wanted OWS gone. I was paid a lump sum of money close to a quarter million. Now I don't know what I am going to do with the rest of my free time this year, because the moderators at this site did my job for me. All I had to do was hire a few losers to troll the site and you pretty much self-destructed trying to stop them, taking out useful members with them. No one comes here anymore hardly, so I don't have anything left to do, guys. Thanks for killing OWS.org, now I'm going to go enjoy my quarter million. Maybe I'll start a corporation or hire some politicians.
I wouldn't use the words "a group of executives who wanted OWS gone" around here. It can be perceived as OWS is successfully pissing off one percenters who would otherwise laugh down their nose at them.
If you think OWS is gone you are not paying very close attention.

What I like about forums is that you get to enjoy the mystery of never knowing who you are really communicating with. Not facts or opinions, those you can always check or argue over, but the personal claims are so different. Those can offer flights of fantasy. Is it really a lobbyist gloating, a bored troll, someone trying to whip up dissent? So many possibilities.
