Forum Post: I think Obama planned OWS

This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Ad Busters gave him the bump he needed, to get his base active. Now that being said, we will see what OWS does in Nov 2012. If the majority go and vote for BO, then it was a HUGE success.

If they dont, and they really need to get in gear if they want alternative options, then it was a failure.

We wont know until the next year is over.

sometimes that thought came to mind.. then that means Obama maybe was in on other countries uprisings too... all on his presidency term.

Egypt was legit. Libya was staged, and there is a good chance that this was too. Remember, "they" are masters of mass psychology.

Adbusters suggested it. People of all stripes and colors support it: Republicans, Democrats, Independents:

Eg. one large donor was a former Wall St. trader:

If people of all stripes and colors support it, why is Occupy using an anarchic-communist look in its marketing? Why doesn't it espouse a look that represents the plurality of their makeup?

Here are my thoughts in brief: http://occupywallst.org/forum/deconstructing-occupy-a-message-within-a-message/

Good points. I can merely suggest, if you don't like their posters, make your own more representative posters.

The movement has outgrown Adbusters and the anarchists. We are gathered and visible now across the globe. We can make what we want of it.

I don't buy that. A strict plan for Occupy is already in place. Read the link I posted above.

Do you follow their plan? Or do you make your own?

I would suggest making another occupy web site. There are several available others available.

The movement is fragmented. The fact that people all over the world are coming out in drones somewhat spontaneously is a sign not of being manipulated as you suggested in your posting.

Instead it is a symptom that society is in great trouble, and people feel great injustices has been inflicted on them.

I am working on a website that deconstructs Occupy. I'm talking with protesters and amassing various view points at this time. Thanks for your input.

At the moment, I think there is a real injustice, but I think the movement is using young minds that are easily molded to push their anarcho-communist movement. My opinion could change as I get more information.

I don't think he planned it, but it is a direct result of 1st time voters, impressionable youth being scammed and fooled. now they are too ashamed to face it and blame what Obama blames. America and the American way of life.

what he didn't predict is that any would turn and see the corruption so quickly, like his slick $433 million plan to buy an experimental smallpox drug and that contract being awarded to,the only one offered it, his long time democrat campaign donor.

no corruption there eh? I think B.O has lost the trust of millions including the majority of OWS.

we can all Thank Barack for OWS but no, he didn't plan it

I don't think that is so and I do think this thing has lots of money being made, but if anything, it appears to be.working against Obama.

If BO is voted in, then OWS is a failure and showed indeed that it was manufactured by Obama and Democrats. Who's that guy again who gave milllions to Adbusters? The moveon.org guy.. that Democrat.

Actually it was a former Wall St. trader who believed in giving back to society:

There was this other guy as well BUT oil trader eh?

If indeed true, then I can see that OWS served their purpose of distracting Americans away from the bombing of civilians in Libya in order to gain oil. Now that NATO and the U.S. have control over their oil supply, watch OWS crumble.

I really don't think he had some secret agenda or he was some sort of right wing conspirator motivated to subvert the left wing.

Many people work on Wall St. because it is just a job. It is one of the dominant industries in NYC, so it is not surprising that it would be also one of the large employers.

[-] 1 points by Owsjim (29) 13 years ago

regardless, OWS if it does not produce any changes in Washington, was a distraction off the bombings in Libya whether they planned for it or not.

The wall street trader, Robert Halpern I think, aleo donated money to the Romney campaign around the same time.

That's what I read in the Washington Post too.

In any case, I would say the movement is now bigger than the original spark provide by Adbusters.
