Forum Post: I think and want to believe there is something at work here that just might be completely new to our government...

We the people, we the OWS are the people and we the people believe with all our hearts that our government has been taken over by corruption and graft as afforded by amendments to the constitution that prevent the constitution from fully functioning to support a moral society.
And further request review of "cause and effect" of the granting of "personhood" to a non-person to conduct commerce under the protection of constitutional law in the United State of America.
It just might be the OWS becomes responsible to forcibly "review constitutional law" under cause and effect in a public forum...
I know I am reaching here but we are a democracy and we have the ability afforded to a democracy to write our future and amend the past when the past as written prevents us from writing our future as a moral society.
I believe the laws granting "personhood" have proven and will show under "cause and effect" that this granting of "personhood" thwarts due process... peace AtomicZ...
I think everyone is hopeful for change, i am pretty sure that was why so many people supported mr Obama, unfortunately until the machine we call Washington is repaired everything will be convoluted.
I believe the OWS could stimulate a national vote on the constitution and further this vote might be tethered to the presidential elections every 4 years - Agreed... "What If?" love those 2 words... What if the nation could vote, that is a national vote country wide - up or down approval or disapproval of our constitutional laws - and further "what if" the national voting took place every 4 years and coincided with the presidential elections? [ I believe this IS something new ] I further believe voting will challenge whoever is running for office to explain their position on the constitution which should insure that the SCOTUS votes along with the national vote and not the corruption / graft - and if not - the next national vote tethered to the presidential election would have to explain any variances divergent from previous national referendums to get elected or reelected! I know this is a reach ... but WHAT IF? peace AtomicZ...
Makes good sense, most likely will empower people to be more involved, it really does take more than just showing up every two years to give an endorsement of this candidate or the other. I like your idea and aproach to this though, how to get the message across though?
