Could correct itself by following one simple saying.
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference."
This movement needs to result in a real change for the better.

Better decide what is worth dedicating yourself to. You first need to identify the problem. Then you can decide if it can be changed. Some things are a just a fact of life. No system can change them.
This is true, right now it's to get-the-bums-out of washington (and they are all bums)
It is hard to know who we can trust right now. We are at a very critical point in our existence.

This sounds like the A.A. mantra.
It's the Serenity Prayer. It's been around for a long long time. When I become overwhelmed, I often turn to it.
I think they "borrowed" it. It's very similar. Have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode "Serenity Now"? Very funny.
You are probably right. I have never been to AA. But, now that you mention it, I think I saw that in a movie once.
I still think it is a very valid saying.
Neither have I, but have known people that are frequent fliers there.yes it has a very Zen-like Asian feeling.

I bet you have to chant that slogan occasionally when you visit blogs such as this and the conversation "devolves" and the stuff hits the fan. I've noticed that some can get pretty riled up and really sling some shitty langauge around.
