U.S. Stocks Decline Amid Concern About Global Economic Growth

World stocks drop amid signs eurozone in recession

The government can decide to shelter our economy, or WallSt, from the next recession or collapse. It has now been proven that the economy and WallSt are not one in the same and that Washington cannot save both. I would bring this to the fore sooner rather than later. Later, it will be decided without our voices.

The media circle jerk is way over the top right now. It's like a frenzy, a celebrity showcase of pop star politicians. The media seems to be the new Hollywood. Complete with popularity wars, 'based on a true story' news cycles, and all together fictional fantasy. Ah yes, the glitz and glamour of doing The People's business.

"politics is show biz for the ugly"

So our congress and president are on a 4 month vacation. We either need laws to limit campaign time or they need to take a 4 month pay cut when they pull this shit. At such a crucial time, it's enormously irresponsible to sleep on the job.

The media always seems to be MIA on matters of importance but their true nature is on full display right now.

Dude, this convention in Tampa was such a sham. It was one big circle jerk of rich lame asses back patting each other (kinda like here sometimes haha).

Im for putting their salaries at the american average, and once out of office, it stops alltogether.

But Im having a hell of a time getting people on board to donate some time. This nation is so fuckin apathetic its driving me nuts!!

Well the apathy will soon be a non-issue. The unfortunate part is that the apathy will be gone because the problems will no longer be pending, they will be current.

You're right. Economics is hard, boring and complex, but that's why they're winning. Not enough people want to dig into it. Pretty soon everybody is going to lose control. It's much better to do an emergency landing of a plane before it runs out of fuel than to let it run out of fuel then look for a place to ditch it.

October is going to be interesting. We might see some economic fireworks, then after the US election, keep your sunglasses handy.

Not sure election politics have any sway with the impending shakeup. If it's beyond the FED, it's beyond the will of politicians and beyond their comprehension. All the smart guys are leaving or have left congress, run out by arrogant kids in suits and viewed unfavorably by corrupted incumbents.

True. How do you imbed pictures in posts? I noticed you did it before.
