Have you ever been hugged? XOXOXO

Ownmyshare, seriously...what do you say about the global financial crisis? What is your take on lobbying?

You don't have to agree with us but why don't you post something rational and articulate?

In other words, convince us that you are right

How about some dialogue before you pass judgement.

He should be more careful. His mom might kick him out of her basement.

[-] 1 points by FuManchu (619) 12 years ago

Recognize the troll. Dont respond to his post and make the thread legitimate.

[-] 1 points by GarnetMoon (424) 12 years ago

I understand perfectly that he is a troll...

Sometimes I choose to ignore and at other times I like to give a brief response that is oppositional to his vitriol and hate.

[-] 4 points by peacejam (114) 12 years ago

I think the issues causing this movement to flare up are more complex than you believe...

It is apparent that your hostility is a product of fear -- fear of change, fear of losing your "precious millions" that were more than likely earned either through bloodlines or the sweat of those less fortunate. I can't help but laugh that the only counter-argument your side can offer is that members of the OWS are lazy and unemployed. If you took the time to do the research rather than taint our site will insults and empty threats we might take what you have to say a bit more seriously. Until then, you are nothing but an ignorant, self-centered product of everything we stand against. I wish you and the other 1% well, and hope hell offers you mercy--though I doubt it.

I am a millionaire too, but in my world you really have a huge problem when you think as you obviously do and write this kind of, pardon my french, shit!!!

[-] 2 points by DCResident (70) 12 years ago

I doubt that you are a millionaire. But folks like you love to talk tough (and rich) behind a veil of internet anonymity.

Please, open the blinds in your parents' basement. Let some sun in. It's a nice day.

[-] 1 points by dantes44 (431) from Alexandria, VA 12 years ago

I'm a billionaire :-)

[-] 1 points by justwantanaccount (68) from Ann Arbor Charter Township, MI 12 years ago

What's your business? You didn't get your millions from the real estate market, did you?

[-] 1 points by Cicero (407) 12 years ago

So now you own the rights to public streets as well?

How did you make you million?

[-] 1 points by 86aynrand (72) 12 years ago

No body wants your money idiot.

[-] 1 points by guitarsarge (2) 12 years ago

I own a small business and I have enough money to get my family by, but that doesn't mean I'm blind. I also understand why you are angry, you're just scared. It's ok to be scared, we are not trying to redistribute your wealth, unless you are a crook... Oh and by the way, I risked my ass in the Marine Corps so you could be free.

[-] 1 points by IChowderDown (110) from Dallas, TX 12 years ago

A mass majority respect the people that serves. You served the Government and Bush based on lies. No worries a mass majority respect the people that serves, and you! :) The US is not really free, by going to war actually has imprisoned people, and the middle class is nearly gone. The 2% has gone to o1 % of wealth. That's because many of them have profited from war. you most likely earned yours the hard way and that is cool. Its about the 1% giving back, especially to the people served.

[-] 1 points by OurTimes2011 (377) from Arlington, VA 12 years ago

If the police start shooting at us, it is only a matter of time before they start shooting at you, too.

We understand why you are frighted. Change is unnerving. This must be very difficult for you. You and the others who are posting negative comments on this forum are feeling threatened and uncertain. These are anxious times.Try to consider this from the perspective of those on "the other side."

Keep in mind that there is no "other side": there is one country, under God.

I really hope it doesn't come to this.. but the instant a police officer kills a protester, our victory will be assured.

DEAR INDIVIDUAL READING THIS, What must we as people do to fight this grave injustice inflicted upon us, by the ones who lust for power? How can we end the reign of the wicked and immoral and mete JUSTICE upon the oppressors as we have suffered from their hands-their blood stained hands... An idea of REVOLUTION-no, the act of revolution enacted by the proletarians! Must we as individuals ,as is always done, remain pawns to these people, these monoliths that we alone as individuals cannot surmounted...I surmise that we are not ignorant to the woes inflicted upon us by their enormities? We must UNIFY! Unity will be the way in which we assert ourselves!...While I realize all are not are not without income or funds and many cannot unify with this growing movement do to reasons of possible opposition and they being the people I'm question who we oppose (Wall Street), and many have responsibility they must tend to that take precedence. We must rise and vanquish this behemothto restore the equilibrium, for when disturbed it causes much chaos and strife in the hearts of man( man being neutral to represent all genders) in his mind and when mans mind and soul are in chaos as many are they rise to vanquish the pestiferous wealthy. However we should not just target these individuals, each of us individually must confront the corruption in our hearts, how can we judge the corrupt and deem them so when we cannot be amenable for ourselves we will surely be deemed hypocrites as we will be.....I am not meaning to say that this protest is in any way unjust, for far too long have we suffered, I mean that we are expected to expiate our sins -assume our parts in the problems we face and how we may have caused it. Yes, the Bankers on Wall Street are corrupt in ways we don't have evidence of without an investigation. But as we suffer soshall they, for we will make it so. But what of our government I say, my fellow citizens do not neglect to Confront the complicit in this affair for the roots of corruption are deeply seated, we have silent enemies amongst us-be warned that although succession in our goals will happen we may face a greater threat to our rights granted unto us from birth be prudent and circumspect. Another issue I wish to address is the idea of mans continual corruption as all things will be permeated with this darkness Inside our hearts.......when a system is created it always deviates from the righteous path, for nations we have learnt of in our education are littered with tales of nations that became corrupt and faded Into the ruin of collapse, we know that a society without corruption is utterly inconceivable, impossible in ways each and everyone of us know...for as long as men exist so shall our inner evil....but I digress from my original Intent of this passage and I ask forgiveness as we must forgive all in all eventual....the rising potentiality of this movement is quite an astonishment, I thought we were not capable of such things and thus I admit I had less faith in my fellow man. I see that we have all come to the realization of the need to bring the greedy to justice, although the reasons for your protesting may be unique to you, you share many goal, I had prognostications, inklings seems more appropriate of a term, that one day man would wake to realize the greater truth outside of his/her reality, and break the cycles of obsession with superficial base needs and trite motives, a dull and predictable lot we were but we've surpassed that I hope....for if not we will founder and fall Into the patterns we had grown so accustomed to, living such prosaic pedestrian lives stultified by the elite and of our own ignorance we always have the means to educate ourselves in this age, we have no limits to what we may learn based on our status in society, the powerful can no longer succeed in keeping us stupefied we have freewill to reason and learn and form our own ideas, ideas that would otherwise have died by the hands of the bigots! Our endeavours shall be crowned with fruition of our goals for our will allows it, we have broken free from the will of the oppressors.... part...now it is your turn...as Desmond Tutu stated "If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor." YOURS TRULY- Aaron Thomas Bridge

[-] 1 points by IChowderDown (110) from Dallas, TX 12 years ago

Karma.... Ownmyshare. Your words are only a reflection of who you are... ya your the piece of shit, get it? But then most likely you are a 12 year zero.

[-] 1 points by CarryTheGripsUpToTheAttic (133) 12 years ago

ANYTIME the "99%" police come down to the park, gently ENCOURAGE them to leak documents/information about this crackdown!

Hold up signs describing where to leak documents, and how to switch to our side!

Follow them! Gently, but CONSTANTLY plead with them to help us!

[-] 1 points by dejected (1) 12 years ago

I have a business. I pay a lot of taxes. I earn my life pretty well (maybe better than you do, who knows). And I support Occupy Wall St. Your comment proves that this is beyond and above you.

[-] 1 points by LOVEPEACE (199) 12 years ago

Wow. When you support violence how do you expect to be safe from it? Be careful what you wish for. This is all engineered, your support of a police state is expected. You will get it. Your life will never be the same.

DEMAND PEACE! Peace is Prosperity

Only in America could someone with such poor grammar, no ability to spell, and no grasp of the English language become a millionaire. I think you're really a liar. You probably are some poor hillbilly that's been brain-washed by Fox News. In either case, you should never try to communicate via the internet because you are only demonstrating how uneducated you are. You should just stay indoors and go back to fucking your sister some more.

1% guy, it is not as if there are not legit complaints; the most obvious is education. my dad could work an entry level job, go to school for accounting, and graduate debt free. i can go to the same school for accounting, work the same entry level job, and graduate with a ton of debt. so what happened? why has the cost of school inflated faster than everything else, including health care? is the program sooo much better now, or is there some other kind of problem?

my problem with OWS is that their answer is usually "i don't know" / "greed" and they want "free" european schooling, when the real answer is the way the government has funded and guaranteed loans and allowed a bubble in education to grow, with that being the problem we should fix.

either way, it's moronic to deny there is a problem.

Many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various socioeconomic demands at the same time, regardless of party, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves; that is, using a Focused Direct Democracy organized according to our current Occupations & Generations. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategically Weighted Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

http://getsatisfaction.com/americanselect/topics/on_strategic_legal_policy_organizational_operational_structures_tactical_investment_procedures

Join

http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/StrategicInternationalSystems/

because we need 100,000 “support clicks” at AmericansElect.org to support a Presidential Candidate -- such as any given political opportunist you'd like to draft -- in support of the above bank-focused platform.

Most importantly, remember, as cited in the first link, that as Bank Owner-Voters in your 1 of 48 "new" Business Investment Groups (or "new" Congressional Committees) you become the "new" Congress replacing the "old" Congress according to your current Occupation & Generation, called a Focused Direct Democracy.

Therefore, any Candidate (or Leader) therein, regardless of party, is a straw man, a puppet; it's the STRATEGY – the sequence of steps – that the people organize themselves under, in Military Internet Formation of their Individual Purchasing & Group Investment Power, that's important. In this, sequence is key.

Why? Because there are Natural Social Laws – in mathematical sequence – that are just like Natural Physical Laws, such as the Law of Gravity. You must follow those Natural Social Laws or the result will be Injustice, War, etc.

The FIRST step in Natural Social Law is to CONTROL the Banks as Bank Owner-Voters. If you do not, you will inevitably be UNJUSTLY EXPLOITED by the Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government who have a Legitimate Profit Motive, just like you, to do so.

Consequently, you have no choice but to become Candidates (or Leaders) yourselves as Bank Owner-Voters according to your current Occupation & Generation.

So please JOIN the 2nd link so we can make our support clicks at AmericansElect.org when called for, at exactly the right time, by an e-mail from that group, in support of the above the bank-focused platform. If so, then you will see and feel how your goals can be accomplished within the above strategy as a “new” Candidate (or Leader) of your current Occupation & Generation.

I doubt you are a millionaire. More than likely a troll. Dont worry i will defend your right to insult me.

[-] 1 points by Wander (9) 12 years ago

Go right ahead and burn it. You want to talk trash, then listen up. Nobody's asking you for money, dipstick. Are you just another illiterate moneygrubber who thinks that this is about your peanut collection? Nobody gives a rabbit's dick about your Monopoly achievements. Listen, dogboy, nobody prevented you from making your money. I have my own business and work 14 hours a day. I'm supporting this because people need their rights to live like human beings. That's what this is about. What you like or don't like is your problem. Go buy some more ignorance, it suits you.

[-] 1 points by Nicolas (258) from Québec, QC 12 years ago

Now first, I don't think you represent in any way what most rich folk think. But if you do. Well, hum, little advice, making silly, excessive threaths of wholesale slaughter on all the discontent is a pretty good way to turn this into actual, real, class warfare. The moment something like the police oppening fire on peaceful protesters happens, is the moment bloody, vengeful and unreasoning revolution starts. And the numbers are not exactly on your side.

Or, more likely, the police say : "Wait, what? Murder a bunch of innocent people so you can pretend there is no money for my pension all the while racking record profits and bonuses? No. Fuck that."

Also, you don't actually own those streets.

[-] 1 points by Lauraaa (8) 12 years ago

The interpretation of OWS (my personal interpretation) is regulation. I hope to see regulation and government austerity measures. Most likely, you will have higher taxes one day, and so in essence, you will eventually be giving all of us at least a cent or two through infrastructure, which you and your loved ones will enjoy. I hope you have a wonderful day and if our protest is infringing on your day, remember that this is us, practicing our first amendment, which you have as well.

[-] 1 points by c0lex (40) 12 years ago

Be careful how you interpret our movement. We do not hate just because you have money. We only hate if you refuse to play by the rules. Skirting the technicalities of the law using an army of lawyers is not ok. Abusing your power is not ok. However, if you are a businessman who makes millions legitimately, we take no issue with you. Sure, it would be more noble to give some back to your community, but we aren't here to judge every person's morals. We are here to say that the corruption has to end. The mating of government and private business has to end.

I'm a Libertarian, so I support business and the free markets. But what we have today is not a free market. Do you like knowing that tomorrow the government might subsidize your opponent, putting you out of business? Do you like dealing with a tax code a mile high? Would your business get bailed out if it went bankrupt because of bad investments? Something tells me that maybe, somewhere deep down, you are one of the 99%, not the 1%. It isn't the money that separates us, it's the conscience. 1% is just a symbol, not meant to be taken literally. We are not attacking EVERYONE who turns a profit. Profits drive America. But they can also drive America off a cliff, if the unethical and illogical behavior continues. I don't know about you, but my $100 in my bank account would be worth a whole lot more if the Federal Reserve wasn't printing money like stick on tattoos. If my $100 is worth more, imagine what your $1,000,000 would be worth.

We are in this together. And by the way, I'm a full time student who also works part time (full time starting next month). Be careful what you wish for with the cops. Some day they might turn on you, and you'll wish you hadn't turned a blind eye while they were beating innocent youths trying to speak freely about the injustices of our current system. We all reap what we sow.

Best regards.
