The Senate and Congress might be unwilling to pass legislation to abolish the Federal Reserve, thus never giving President Ron Paul the ability to sign off on it, if he were to be elected. However a Ron Paul Presidential Administration could single handedly abolish bureaucratic agencies such as the CIA, the FBI, the FDA, the Department of Education, the EPA, the Homeland Security Police State, et al. Above all -- and this is the single most important issue in my mind -- Ron Paul would abolish the IMF and World Bank, thus alleviating the economic warfare that has been waged against indigenous peoples on every continent for the last the half century. He would forgive all debt owed by the third world to international banks. Ron Paul is really a revolutionary candidate. Bonus: As Commander in Chief, Ron Paul would also end the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Ron Paul is the only candidate who would stop bombing brown people. If Ron Paul reigned in the American Empire, then I would be delighted to give the Southerners their stupid tax cuts. The pain and suffering incurred as a result of the abolition of all those regulatory and protective agencies for 4 years would be worth the abolition of the oppression of the third world.
Ron Paul would purify the land and give us anarchy for 4 or even 8 years -- after which point liberals could establish proper public, socialist medicare. Think long term. Ron Paul’s anarchy would be temporary.
One more thing: Ron Paul would abolish the minimum wage, but I think that’s a good thing. Minimum wage was a concession that rank and file labour fought for since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution some 200 years ago. Ostensibly it might seem that relinquishing our minimum wage would be counter-productive. From my humble perspective, however, the abolition of the minimum wage would force everyone in American to form a union. The market condition of having no minimum wage would provoke all Americans to get organized. Union organizing would flourish.
