Hello. ....

The main focus of the board is to create an open source problem solving library. However there are more casual forums for just hanging out, and one mission of the board is to provide a place to discuss virtually anything. So if you come over and like the place, but its missing a space to suit your interest, let us know, and we will see what we can do about adding a forum. Also, committed participants may recieve if they ask for it forum/blogs, or, their own personal forum.

This is the welcome page at the board, I hope you will visit and enjoy!! :)

http://mytalktoday.com/solutions/viewtopic.php?f=103&t=949 Hello and welcome to mytalktoday/solutions.

This board is here to to serve as the organizing forum in a collaborative open source project which will use a wiki.

The project is large and has many components and is in some ways thus hard to define.

There are 26 Issue Sub Forums and about a dozen and a half Science Sub forums. Out mission is to do these things in this order.

  1. Research the Issue or Science.
  2. Make lists of primary axioms.
  3. Compile relevant information.
  4. Sort that information into specific primary axioms and support for those axioms.
  5. Write on line what will in effect equal a textbook per each of those forums.
  6. Having done this, create an open source library, information, social organization, and action center to promote those ideas and those solutions to real world problems.
  7. Create the database which would be installed on board a generation sleeper ship. All of the most pertinent, most relevant, and most important information, everything required to ensure civilization and human life.

Given that these are our missions, clearly this board is very different from most boards on the net in terms of how it works and what we are looking for in terms of participation. We are not sticks in the mud however by any means, and have provided a sort of sandwhich of forums which are serious and highly focused embedded between forums which are relaxed and informal.

It is our hope that we have created a space for virtually any kind of topic. Our process is to continually provide an information service specific to solving problems which are normally addressed only in politics.

In this, the question is, "What information do YOU need?" We are an information service, and we strive to provide information which is cogent, useful, relevant, and which actually offers real world solutions to real world problems.

We have a forum specifically to help people understand how better to participate, which is our "Orientation, Guidelines" viewforum.php?f=38

Forum, as well as three more forums for deeper information right after that in terms of A; understanding Cause and effect. (Cause and effect Forum) viewforum.php?f=7

B. Understanding Logic, cogency, truth value, and relevance. (Logic Forum) viewforum.php?f=39 C. Understanding diplomacy and collaborative process. (positive dialogue Forum) viewforum.php?f=2

I hope that we are of service to you and that you decide to stay and help us be of service to humanity as a whole. Thanks for everything, Sincerely, The Staff...

Feathers, long bill, webbed feet... go 'quack'... Ambassador Vir Cotto: Cats. Ambassador Londo Mollari: Cats. Being nibbled to death by cats. Marcus Cole: That's a lot of ships! That's a bloody awful lot of ships! Delenn: We are star stuff. We are the universe made manifest trying to figure itself out. Byron: But where is it written that all our dreams must be small ones?"

There already is a wiki. Why are you posting this instead of working on building it?

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

which wiki? where? nobody has yet to show me a wiki that appeared to be on site to this or an already existing and occupied site. if i am missing something.. link me... don;t you think?

Everyone has an agenda. I'm not sure what you mean. What's on the site is on the site.

Somebody set up this wiki: http://www.wikioccupy.org/

Have fun, build away. Setting up a wiki is easy, the work is in building the content.

someone is not identified to me enough to trust them. you are somebody with an unclear mind and an agenda to push and thus right to start i can;'t trust you. as stated show me admin and give me a depth train on this personal evolution not put together by the boys in the van or back at HQ in a rush on the fly.

i have been stupid enough to get sucked into closets with CIA or ism shills before. i learn fast i have a steep learning curve.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

i have seen this before. looks blank. again. who is the admin and how can i know that they are actually in this for the right reasons?

If you can't learn to set up a wiki by yourself (it's not difficult) then you need to find a technologist who you trust, because the information economy has made you dependent. The way to free yourself from this slavery is for you to learn some web skills. Begging for somebody else to just hand you the exact wiki that you imagine is obviously not working out for you. The way to get what you want is to create it yourself.

[-] 1 points by gawdoftruth (3698) from Santa Barbara, CA 12 years ago

no. the way to get what i want considering i am me is to wait for the wake up crew to wake up and gell over how much i can do for them and how much i can't do what they do either.

while i appreciate your advice , i am me. makes more sense to run rampant as me then to get involved trying to become a techie at this moment. its also the perfect reality test. a point you seem to miss. its not about the wiki. the wiki is just one thing of 101 things the top of my short list.

this is things i give as organizational info to the mass consciousnesss. while i am sure you would like me to shunt off into a corner somewhere, i am right where i need to be.

You're objecting to a system that doesn't give you enough control over the economy or government. You have a proposal to make our entire society dependent on machines. But you can't even figure out how to start a wiki, which is the Internet equivalent of the 90s job skill of clicking File->New in Microsoft Word. You're advocating a system that would make you a slave to technologists, as the solution to the problem of you being a slave. That doesn't make very much sense. You're just trading one master for another.

Here, go here: http://www.wikihost.org/ Make a wiki!

your fear of technology is fascinating. well. yeah. we have possible futures to become the borg or starfleet and both are just us projecting ourselves into fiction to ponder poetically. We get to choose and how we relate to technology and build ethics and culture are very important or we all end up lobotomized. But it does not have to be that way and there lies your fatal error. you only make a slippery slope argument, and sure it could go that way but it could also go back to permacutured eden with all technology toys hidden underground and hardly ever used.

starting a wiki is really a small thing compared to being familiar enough with it to mod it or add plug ins or change its appearance effectively etc.

You seem to have a lot of witty criticism.

i think you think you are clever.

your not.

your long winded ad homs are boring to me but cue me to talk past you over your head to the crowd. you engage- i win. you will realize as others over time that ina troll vs troll forum... aspie speadreader owns the aces.

It all makes perfect sense as soon as you stop spinning or looking for somethign to attack with thenext spin and ad hom.

Your tactics are primtive. inobvious troll is inobvious.
