Forum Post: How to Integrate Communication?

Many of us are scattered movements all progressing forward in our different ways and, as we have seen, digital communication can be crucial to moving forward (though it can hold back as well).
I am part of a task force at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage with the goal of developing a communications framework that we can use for our own internal communications and storage needs, that we hope we can then relay to other communities and movements that face the same challenges.
Im writing now to see if there is anyone out there who has some tech solutions/advice for how to integrate many people digitally so that their communication and files can be shared efficiently with all involved. Anyone? (We are currently thinking along the lines of OwnCloud or OpenAtrium, or Evernote and GoogleDocs. Thoughts?)

Thanks....that was helpful. I've noticed that it's only when you comment that you get hammered. Maybe the solution is to quit commenting so much. I wish that I could help to get your score back to the point that it reflects your....errr commitment to this non-parDisan struggle.
