Hi everyone,

I've developed a web site called PlainSite because it's clear that there is a communications gap between average Americans and the politicians who run the country. (It's also going to start getting cold soon, and it's a lot easier to write something on a web site from the comfort of your own home than it is to sit on a cold street.)

On PlainSite you can voice your problems with our democracy, propose solutions, link them to the law, and even suggest specific changes to the law for others to vote on. As it so happens, this is exactly what lobbyists get paid to do--but for the first time, PlainSite provides the tools for ordinary people to do the same thing.

We need to ensure that votes are authentic, so you need a verifiable e-mail address to sign up. But if you have one, you definitely should sign up. We have elected officials already paying attention, as well as top law school professors and students across the country.

If you have any feedback, feel free to leave it here.

Aaron
