They want to Legislate human Behavior and Morality. They want to take away Individuality. But they don't have a Problem with Financial Fraud, Laundering Drug Money, Banker Conspiracy to Set LIBOR Lending Interest Rates, Liar Loans, Robo Signing Legal Documents that put legal home owners in the Street..... No Laws against Bankers. They want to control human behavior, drive small businesses out of business, but give free loans and deregulation to Big Banks.

How is Prohibition Working Out? Gambling, Sex, Alcohol, Drugs, Accounting Fraud, Illegal Handguns, Homosexuality, Transvestitism, Pedophilia, Subprime Mortgages, Child Sweatshops, Illegal Immigration, Rent Seeking, Organized Crime, ....USURY

Supply & Demand. Outlawing something doesn't always dry up demand. Short supply drives up prices and makes it Profitable to Break the Law. Didn't the Kennedys get Rich during Prohibition? Who got Rich from Sub-Prime Mortgages? Who is making it Rich from Sweatshops? Independent Auditing Firms are getting Rich from Selling Fraud and Setting up Fraud

Usury (pron.: /ˈjuːʒəri/[1][2]) is the practice of making unethical or immoral monetary loans. Depending on the local laws or social mores, a loan may be considered usurious because of excessive or abusive interest rates. According to some jurisdictions and customs, simply charging any interest at all can be considered usury.[3][4][5] Other terms used for usury or usurers include loan shark, as well as Shylock which is sometimes used with an antisemitic connotation.

Many current studies of rent-seeking focus on efforts to capture various monopoly privileges stemming from government regulation of a market. The term itself derives, however, from the far older practice of appropriating a portion of production by gaining ownership or control of land.

Some of the earliest known condemnations of usury come from the Vedic texts of India. Similar condemnations are found in religious texts from Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (the term is riba in Arabic and ribbit in Hebrew).[6] At times many nations from ancient China to ancient Greece to ancient Rome have outlawed loans with any interest. Though the Roman Empire eventually allowed loans with carefully restricted interest rates, in medieval Europe, the Christian church banned the charging of interest at any rate (as well as charging a fee for the use of money, such as at a bureau de change).

Modern Financing is similar to Key Money. I give you money for a year or multiple years ... then you give me my money back, ... plus interest. Like a bond.

Regression of Finance or ... Regressive Consumer Finance is to put the consumer at risk in individual stocks ... or even to put the consumer at risk in bonds. Index Stock Funds ... or Bond Funds might be called less risky, or progressive Investments. But the fact is that Individual stocks ... whether small capitalization stocks ... or large capitalization stocks ... are Full of Risk. People that look for Pension or Retirement Fund Investments should stick to Funds that invest in many stocks, many bonds, or many real estate investments ... to spread out the risk ... these are normally called an Index Fund (since the strategy is to invest in assets like index funds or indexes)

Next Point: If you have prohibition of Guns, but the borders are "Open" then what will prevent guns from coming in across the border. Answer: nothing.

But Prohibition will strengthen Police Forces. Police will have to be funded at much higher levels to give the appearance of law enforcement. Presumably Wall Street Fraud is kept to the Wall Street Zone, ... but in fact policing is so none existent that banker fraud can be done anywhere. No on in Washington DC wants enforcement of Fraud Laws in Wall Street or on TBTF banks.

There are no limits for any organization that wants to engage in crimes prohibited by the Federal Government. Guns will stream across the border just as Drugs do today.... And as there is no Limit on Wall Street Derivatives.

Speaking of Critical Thinking, here is an odd statement from a former Soviet Intelligence Agent about America. Look at the 2:19:00 Minutes into this Video. He is talking about how Generations of US Students were taught to accept facts and not to question things in front of them. There is a nice flash of cut Beams in the World Trade Center Towers rubble.
