If anything at all, you guys are hurting the economy by being a part of the problem. Get it through your thick skull! Laying about a park from day to day smoking weed and eating donated food from people that actually have a job is not going to improve the economy!
Come join us, the employed and get off your lazy asses!
Latest reports show that there is only 1 job for every 4 unemployed Americans. Wake up, educate yourself, then try and help your country move forward... like what us smelly uneducated hippies are doing.
Oh, I get it. You want us to just send our complaints to our representatives by email.
First, our so-called "representatives" no longer represent US.
Our representatives represent the monied interests.
They no longer represent the butcher, baker and candle stick maker.
They represent the banks, corporations and their lobbyists.
if you don't think your represenatitve represent you, then why would you keep voting for them?
When I think they don't represent my interests, or the greater interests of America, I do NOT vote for them.
Unfortunately, we have many uninformed sheep in America whose total knowledge about world events and the laws and policies under consideration in Congress comes from Rupert Murdoch's propaganda machine, and that of tax-exempt "think tanks" who are funded by the Koch brothers to spread half-truths and misinformation.
These think-tanks are not true academic or scholarly organizations because their work is not presented for peer review by the larger community of scholars.
Only the paid shills and those who have drank the Kool Aid.

Every person controlled by propaganda, denies being controlled. It is up to each individual in the privacy of his own mind to consider his/her own behavior. If you are unwilling to examine self destructive behavior that is impacting your own ability to get a job, to allow the privileged to transfer your wealth to them by unfair taxation, to poison your air/water/food (remember the BP oil spill), and to bribe the entire congress for laws benefiting them at your expense, then you are a traitor.
Each one of these individuals defensively denies having a weak mind that can be manipulated. It is that defense that backfires. If people understood that their own self destructive behavior which forces them to vote for either of the 2 bribed candidate with the most money. The amount of money raised indicates which candidate has been bribed. When the bag men spread the cash to both Democratic and Republican candidates in the race, its because they don't know for sure who will win the election.
It is stupid and ignorant to vote for any candidate receiving bribes. The reason no American will call the bribes by name is the obvious fact that proves each of the 98% voting for the bribed candidate is in the deep propaganda trance they deny. They are too arrogant to consider they might be bribed. They would rather be thrown into the street with no job prospects than to deal with the trance that drives them to vote against themselves.
Curiosity that examines the irrational behavior is necessary to snap the trance. But the arrogance prevents the curiosity with denial. It is the same as a dog chasing his own tale going round and round.
There can be no end in sight until dealing directly with the propaganda trance begins on a national scale. The alternative will be electing the same crooks taking bribes. Its up to each individual to recognize self destructive behavior.

So you are saying "everyone" protesting at the parks smoke weed and are thrashing the spaces?
It does most certainly appear that way. If there are a few people actually getting something accomplished with their lives, then more power to them. However, I fail to see how laying about a public park during the winter time is moving your life forward.
Although I agree with other options beside occupying a space may be better it is their right to use whatever avenue they choose to protest how the American people have been screwed.
This is what lazy hippies do. That's why they are a failure in life. Leave them alone
