While I support the idea of occupy wall street, I have to say it seems to have very little forward mobility, or voice, or Goal.
It's great to draw attention to a problem so good job on that, however the movement is being undermined in the media and etc. by it's lack of message.

Here's my idea message and goal.

The government cannot afford to police every company we buy products from. So who should be doing it? Big business obviously can't be trusted to act with integrity unless it's advantageous.

Realistically we "99%" have more money than all of them put together, we're they're customers, they can do nothing without us. I say boycott's are the only way to effectively get through to them, which only provides a bigger problem.

How do we know who to boycott?

If anything is to come out of this movement here's what I'd like it to be....Consumer information laws. One thing the government can do to help us that costs them/us very little.

I want every large business in the world that sells products in the US to be required to accurately report on they're packaging. Things like Cost/price ratio (markup %), carbon footprint (because extensive fossil fuel usage raises gas prices), an employee treatment score (developed based on benefits, wages, safety ratings etc.

Big businesses that don't have product labels need to be required to have a website page with similar ratings. If I'm buying a home-loan or starting a banking account. I want to know how many foreclosures started there, how many lawsuits they've faced, and how many accounts have been sent to collection (all reflections of business practices). If I'm starting a retirement account I want to see the companies history of investment failings and successes and I want it simple and easy to read (NO EXCUSES)

We CAN stop big businesses from profiting from our heartaches, we just need information.

This is my message - pass it on.
