Lyrics:

No It's Not OK

Well you work all your life just to make ends meet Forget about a pension or Social Security You'll be working until you're eighty That's downward mobility

No It's not OK There's a better way People lead the way And we won't stop at Wall Street

The game is stacked in the one percent's favor And we the ninety-nine are not allowed at the table The GDP says wealth is being created But it floats up to the top away from those who generate it

No It's not OK There's a better way People lead the way And we won't stop at Wall Street

They know that to conquer they must first divide So they stoke up discontentment against those who are unionized Who have nice pensions and sane working hours too But instead of tearing them down why not build up you and me? Because you deserve the same things for your labor And the ninety-nine percent are your friends and your neighbors

No It's not OK There's a better way People lead the way And we won't stop at Wall Street

We don't want a handout we just want what we've earned And a fair shake for those who have been so badly burned Holding criminals responsible, what could be more mainstream? It's time to stop the theft of the American Dream

No It's not OK There's a better way People lead the way And we won't stop at Wall Street

I like this so much better than the accordion version.

You are how Bob Dylan should have been. I hate Bob Dylan. His voice makes me want to lock myself up in a bathroom with a box of razor blades.
