Forum Post: Has occupy wall street found a candidate to campaign for presidency?

The most productive thing occupy wall street could do is find a worthy candidate and use the hype the protests have created to campaign for them in the next presidential race.
Take no money from corporations or special interest groups. use internet and media and the protests to campaign for a candidate who is only backed by american people.
Buddy Roemer might be a good possibility. He has spoken against money in politics and and advocated for occupy wall street.
A candidate with that platform would get many votes.
How do we get something like this started by the 2012 race?
