Forum Post: Green Products? How about People friendly products?

Here is an idea for big huge companies that want to go give back to the middle class but have no idea how to start. How about one product or service at a time?

We buy green products. It makes us feel good. What if a company produced a line of products that were people "green" In that the products had to be made by US citizen-employees, had to be made of components sourced from US. Everything about that product had to be documented and public information.

Here is another example. I am a middle class innovator sitting on an invention that could make me a lot of money in a licencing deal. I am in a unique position to approach an old school manufacturing company and negotiate a people friendly licencing deal. Contingent on the deal is everything about the product is to be made public knowledge. I'm the inventor so heck yeah I'm going to get a fat check. But the customer would be able to see the other people that benefit - who directly manufactuer or support.

It is just an idea...
