Forum Post: Great Information on Social Equality from Dr. Jeffrey Sachs

So many political and media elites want to know what Occupy "wants." Dr. Jeffrey Sachs spoke at San Francisco's Commonwealth Club last month, and he spoke effectively about equality--economic and social--and the means to achieve that equality by increasing a variety of taxes (private, corporate) by what would be about 4% of the GDP. That new revenue would be plugged into education, social services, etc. Very exciting stuff, very specific, and one way to answer the question "what does Occupy want."
