It was great that you had medical professionals down at Liberty Square today, where they demonstrated and held a virtual free clinic. I'm an advocate for maintaining the focus on jobs/economic issues, but having a national health care program is vital and should be the priority along with the economic/financial cause. It would be nice if a permanent 'clinic' could be established there. And since homelessness is definitely related to our economic troubles, it may also be good to open up a soup kitchen there for all the street (and other) homeless. Just something to consider. . . .Desperate people going to Liberty Square to be fed and get medical care. Wouldn't that be nice if it could be done. As for getting the financial laws changed, you should have individual petitions based on different laws and practices (and anything else that's related) circulated by participants and supporters. I would also recommend that you have some people in suits and business attire do the petition (and other) work, as they would look more approachable to people who are on the fence (or just afraid to get involved). And, of course, there have to be lobby teams in Washington (for federal laws) and, to a lesser extent, in Albany (for state laws). I hope these comments prove useful.

Hi Libtard. Well I agree there should be transparency and openness by the OWS in revealing what funds they have received and how they will be allocated (just like they're asking the financial houses and corporations to do). But I think some of the money could be used to operate a daily medical clinic for basic care and a 'soup kitchen' for the hungry -- not to mention taking care of the core group at Liberty Square (renting port-a-johns, etc.). The funds could also be used for lobbying in both Washington and Albany to get financial and other laws changed. Thanks for your response.
