You get your way, everybody has the same amount of money. I can manage my money but many of you have no idea how to manage your money. You spend it all. There are no social programs. Who will you come after then? And then? Are YOU going to take care of the nursing home?
Excellent post, Fred. Here's the thing... No one wants to "get rid of the rich" that is a huge oversimplification. What we want is a government free from corruption by big corporate money.
It appears like YOU have not gotten the message about the 1% that are rich. You need to read many of the posts and watch the news. If it is NOT against the rich, OWS is doing a terrible job of telling the story. AND, many of the posts continue to ask the question of the "demands." If the masses dont know, how would you?
No one wants to "get rid of the rich." "Get[ting] rid of the rich" would, as you astutely point out, cause as m - oh, wait, you didn't point that out, either. You just talked about how awesome you are? Cool. High fives.
Apparently your not reading the posts. It appears to me that they are against the rich.
I've been around a while. There are some angry, thoughtless weirdos making odd declarations. They don't really mean it.
