claims in a tweet today the the "Chicago" people at BLS manipulated the unemployment numbers down to 7.8% to help Obama look good
I wonder what his taxes would be with a romney/ryan plan ?
If Obama could control the Unemployment Numbers wouldn't they be at 5.1%? Would they have ever been over 8%? Would they have stayed above 8% until now?
If they could have been controlled, wouldn't George W. have shown that his tax cuts actually created some jobs? Has anybody noticed that he also has the Dow at record high numbers?
GE doesn't pay federal taxes right now. We actually give GE money. Fact.
GE also gives money to the Obama administration.
I think GE manipulates the government.
And GE & the 1% wil do what they can do - until - We can do what 80% of Americans want

Not BS. Don't want to take the time to dig up actual percentage, but NBC was wholly owned by ge when msnbc was created w Microsoft. Now I believe NBCUniversal is a joint venture bt ge and someone. Also, somewhere along the line msft reduced its ownership. GE still must own at least 40% of the left wings over the top counter punch to FOX.

I agree with Jack Welsh about the BLS report released October 5th being manipulated for political reasons to help the liberal 1 percent. I agree with bansdad that the tax breaks are manipulated to help the conservative 1 percent.
The October 5th report says there are 114,000 new jobs created in September, yet in the same month employment increased by 873,000 - nearly a million. I believe the household survey sample used to calculate month-to-month employment growth was changed in how they select households, how they contact them, when they contact them, what time of day they contact them, how the questions are asked or how they define what new employment is.
I thought Occupy was against greed and corruption. Too bad that Occupy didn't create or nominate a presidential candidate we could campaign for and vote for. Maybe Occupy only wants to keep us busy wasting time so the 1 percent will win again.

again: Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch caused a stir on Friday morning when he took to his Twitter account to allege that the Bureau of Labor Statistics fudged the numbers on their September jobs and unemployment reports to show the official rate dropping below 8 percent. “I wasn’t kidding,” Welch said in an interview. Jack Welch Kicks Off Conservative Conspiracy Theories About 7.8% Unemployment Rate “Unbelievable jobs numbers..these Chicago guys will do anything..can’t debate so change numbers,”
Welch tweeted after the September jobs numbers showed the official unemployment rate dropping three tenths of a point in one month. Mr. Welch said in an interview published in The Wall Street Journal. “It’s fact-based.”
Who knows what rate he pays, its irrelevant what he as an individual pays. The bottom line is the system is broken, its corrupted beyond repair.
He is a sharp guy, an old alpha wolf. He probably doesn't pay 5%.
He's retired by now, drawing on retirement funds, so he probably pays a lot of taxes. But:
1) He probably transferred assets to his kids to shelter them.
2) Draws Retirement from a trust used to differ taxes on income, earned interest on investments up to 2006, his earned interest pays any taxes he would have owed on the original income he earned but did not report.
3) Probably has many trust Funds set up.
