By John McCormack, The Weekly Standard

A national Gallup poll of adults shows that 50% of Americans believe Barack Obama's presidency has been "a failure," while 44% of Americans say Obama's presidency has been "a success." Gallup also reports that "President Obama's average job approval rating for the month of February in Gallup Daily tracking was 45%, with 47% disapproving, unchanged from January.... The 50% approval mark is a crucial one for presidents in a re-election year.

The Weekly Standard? Ok, it is obvious why they did not show what people think of the GOP congress peeps in the same breath. Because all other polls have shown than while Obama's ratings are low, the GOP's in congress's ratings are near 0. So who is going to beat Obama? I personally will not vote for him again. But that is not because he is a radical - socialist like all the rabid left the planet right wingers are saying. It is because he has sold out to the right over and over in attempt to "compromise." I also predict that in the longer term, Obama will be seen more than anything as an enforcer of the status quo rather than a reformer of any kind.

You may be right unfortunately but there is always Impeachment and this POS has already earned his shot at that. If the Reps own the Senate and the House. You can kiss your Messiah goodbye. Count on it!!

Impeachment for what???? I may not agree with any of the social policies and so many other things he did one thing right. He did allow the killing of "OBL"

I would like to know that success the 44% really see?

They would never impeach him no matter what. Hell, Erich Holder is still in office! The republicans have done nothing about him. They will do nothing about Obama.

Think you misunderstand. IMO Obama will go down in history as the worst president in American history. Even worse than that clown Bush.

His bump in the polls is all irrelevant at this point. The contraception issue was just to gain votes among women voters. Wait until the GOP targets Obama's record in the debates.

Let's also talk about these Republicans that have blocked every productive piece of legislation that has been introduced since 2012, causing our credit rating to drop from AAA to AA, nearly put us in default, etc.

All the President does is sign the bills. Republicans won't let anything that actually helps the country get to him to sign...
