A law in Illinois makes recording people without their consent a felony. With the G8 protests coming up, this means anybody recording cops will be handed serious legal charges. Expect to see this come into play during the beatings and gassings. It's gonna get messy.

I think that only pertains to audio recordings. Video equipment w/o audio and photography are ok. That article is kind of alarmist.

I suppose it's meant to protect our privacym but numerous citizens have been arrested for video recording cops in Il. Google it.
