Thank you for scheduling your online video interview with Varsity Tutors!

Your interview is scheduled for January 28, 2016 at 12:00 pm PST. In this online video interview, we will determine the types of students and subjects you would be a good fit for. If we have openings for those in your area, we will collect all required paperwork so you can start selecting students as soon as possible. Below is important information to keep in mind for your interview:

Before your scheduled interview, we require some documentation to verify your professional qualifications and experience level. Use the following steps to upload your documents to your personal account:

Varsity Tutors connects you to top tutors through its award-winning live learning platform for private in-home or online tutoring in your area.

Please convert the following documents to PDF files:

Your resume Y our unofficial college transcripts (can be printed from your college website)

Your standardized test scores (only required if you are applying to tutor standardized test prep; found on official score reports and on some college transcripts)

A copy of your drivers license

If your document is multiple pages, please combine like documents into one file. You can use the free online program at pdfmerge.com or neevia.com, to convert and combine your documents.

Please be sure to blackout your social security number on any document before uploading for your protection.

Upload all of the required documents using the links in your personal account.

If you are unable to submit all documents prior to the interview please proceed with the scheduled interview and submit them as soon as possible.

Before your scheduled interview, we may request that you fill out some simple subject assessments.

When you login to your account to upload documents, please also take note of the 'Subjects' area of your dashboard.

If you have subjects with pending assessments, please take a moment to complete the assessments.

A subject assessment takes only a few minutes, and will help us to better match you with suitable clients.

The interview will be conducted via Varsity Tutors Online Session.

You will need to have access to a webcam and microphone through your computer for the interview.

At least one hour prior to your interview, please visit Online Setup to test your audio/video setup.

After you confirm your setup, please visit: this link to join the meeting at your scheduled time.

If you do not immediately see your interviewer, please stay in the meeting until your interviewer arrives. If your interviewer does not join within 15 minutes, please contact us at 314-675-0730 or recruitment@varsitytutors.com.

The interview can last up to one hour. During that time, we will discuss your qualifications and your interest in the position. Your interviewer will be supplying subject questions for you to demonstrate your teaching ability and style. Please be sure to have paper and pen within reach.

Please be advised that any offer of a contract with Varsity Tutors is contingent upon a criminal background check. The number of hours that tutors work vary based on if they are able to travel to the right areas, have a flexible schedule, and can tutor our most requested subjects.

You have the ability to change your appointment, should an emergency arise. As a courtesy, try to give us at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled interview time. We may pull your application from consideration if we do not receive appropriate notice or record multiple reschedules for your interview.

they might have been

I think the pdf requests and bother of setting up a viseo feed

and then all this protect your personal information

really set off alarms about their authenticity

requesting paper works seems very obsolete
