Free speech is really the reason I got into this movement, speaking personally. Later on I realized that this movement could also be the way that we finally start to end all the wars. And now I'm more passionate about economic justice than I've been in a decade. Good things rub off on good people, and I like to think that my wife and I are good people. And that's why we love each other and we find it easy to love other good people in our community.

Look, you can't turn anybody away from this movement. I hate to tell you this, but this is a post about Ron Lawl. Not really about Ron Lawl, but more about the idea of censorship and how it's a pernicious thing that can really destroy any community.

In Oakland we talk a lot about radical inclusiveness. I met a really cool woman who has dreadlocks going down to her hips, and she is a fan of Ron Lawl. She wants to see an end to wars and the Fed. She marched with us in solidarity with the people in Tahrir Square.

Occupy Oakland and Tahrir Square are one fist. We do not turn away people with open minds. We do not play politics with the future of the human race. We have more important things to talk about here than politics. If all the fingers do not join together, there is no fist.
