From Dictatorship to Democracy - I first learned about this manual for peaceful revolution earlier this year from a BBC article posted at the following url:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-12522848

The author’s name is Gene Sharp, and you can obtain the manual in .pdf at the following site:

http://www.aeinstein.org/organizations98ce.html

The book opens with the following remark:

“In recent years various dictatorships — of both internal and external origin — have collapsed or stumbled when confronted by defiant, mobilized people. Often seen as firmly entrenched and impregnable, some of these dictatorships proved unable to withstand the concerted political, economic, and social defiance of the people.”

Although specifically addressed to those who oppose dictatorships, this book may provide ideas and strategies for overcoming the entrenched powers we face today.

Indeed, this is plutocratic oligarchy we are dealing with: governement by and for a small group of ultra-rich elites.

fight back by denying them your $$.

buy used in local thrift shops.

pay off all debt and stay debt free.

ride a bike everywhere and haul your stuff in pannier bags.

deny oil companies their profits and get healthier at the same time.

deny the health industry profits by staying healthier.

change starts at home, folks.

change yourself and then teach it to a friend.

avoid high cost new shit like the plauge...
