The "freedom Tower" is here in new york and will be the center of strategic operations for corporations to strengthen and slowly take over and ruin the world we live in. In my opinion I don't think it will do the lower/middle class any good.

I guess the tower will be symbolic for how much tax money a government can take from the people to build ridiculous "dick sizing" monuments like the Egyptians did with the Pyramids, Tower of Babel ect.. none really served any good purpose to the peons/common people.

What do you think? When this tower is complete will it help us get out of this funk? or will this be a tool to just enslave us all in a endless cycle of debt while the 1% gloats and laughs at us?

Anything that has the word "freedom" or "patriot" associated with it should not be trusted and carefully scrutinized.

The is a hidden history to the site. The WTC was turned down by voters 3 times I think. Then it was built anyway. That's a curse from the beginning for a civic center.

Piecing oral history and written history, the land was a Dutch trading center with 7 buildings in the 1700's. A major trade road ran along the west side that was connected to a growing community. On that road was the stock exchange.

In the beginning there was war with the Indians. Violation of treaty was dealt with execution of tribal leaders who challenged the violation.

We don't call it "Freedom Tower" anymore.

Now it is known as 1 WTC.

I look at it more as a symbolic gesture. A great big middle finger at those who wish to bring us down.

I would have preferred the WTC rebuilt as it was before it was destoyed on 9/11.
