It's clear to me that the "NYC General Assembly" is a fraudulent government (oligarchist) front operation that is co-opting the Occupy Wall Street protests. They seem to be pretending to be equalitarian ("progressive"), but they are really trained oligarchist operators. Look at their organizational procedures (read them! they sound like Scientologists):

General Assembly Minutes 10/4 7PM

Block—When we have a proposal, we try to reach consensus. If you block that means you have a moral or ethical concern with whatever is being proposed. A block is very serious. If we can still reach 9/10 majority, even with your block, you are choosing to walk away. We don’t want anyone to walk away, so we will do our best to address all blocks. __

"....you are choosing to walk away?" In other words, if you don't buy their entire platform, they kick you out! But they use weasel-words. I have participated in several groups that used this consensus decision method, and they are always intolerant of all dissent, and they always turn out to be controlled by a very small in-group.

/¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Are there any concerns regarding Amanda and Bre as facilitators for this general assembly?

No!

We’d like to begin by introducing the process. __

Who do Amanda and Bre really work for, and what right do they have to "introduce the process?"

Yet the proclamations of this despotic organization are read on TV by oligarch media operators; Keith Olbemann, for example.

I am an equalitarian ("progressive"), but I expect people to think for themselves, and have differing opinions. What has happened on Wall Street and in Washington is just as great a disaster for the patriots ("paleo-cons") as it has been for us, They have just as much right to protest as we do.

May we never fall into the vicious "consensus decision" trap! Use approval voting with runoffs! Stay in small affinity groups of five to ten members, and send random "delegates" to the other groups. We don't want one or two "official" Occupy Wall Street websites! We must have at least one hundred or more of them, each with their own agenda.

We need no fraudulent government (oligarchist) front operations to speak for us, negotiate with the police, etc. We could even attend their meetings and and raise subtle "issues" with their resolutions, keeping in mind that they are trained operatives. Let's not give them our real names and places of residence. Say you are Ms./Mr. Some Somebody, and you live Somewhere. And say you did not bring any ID (although you should anyway, in NYC). They will be making lists!
