The “Occupy” movement, whether displaying itself on Wall Street or in the streets of Oakland (which has, with unspeakable cowardice, embraced it) is anything but an exercise of our blessed First Amendment. “Occupy” is nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists, an unruly mob, fed by Woodstock-era nostalgia and putrid false righteousness. These clowns can do nothing but harm America.

“Occupy” is nothing short of a clumsy, poorly-expressed attempt at anarchy, to the extent that the “movement” – HAH! Some “movement”, except if the word “bowel” is attached - is anything more than an ugly fashion statement by a bunch of iPhone, iPad wielding spoiled brats who should stop getting in the way of working people and find jobs for themselves.

LMAO!!!!

There's kind of an irony here, if you watch his clip "Batman: Year One"

http://splashpage.mtv.com/2011/09/21/batman-year-one-clip-the-dark-knight/

It shows Batman coming down on the criminal elite, telling them that nowhere is safe.

Thank god America's super-rich comic-book artists are finally weighing in on the Occupy Wall Street movement! LOL...I was just saying to myself the other day, "I wonder what Frank Miller has to say about this? Will Frank's opinions on the OWS movement ever be available for all of us to hear?" I have to say, I was actually worried, but thankfully, Frank's thoughts have finally reached the masses--and just in time! Phew! We can all sleep a little better now....

Now I don't feel so bad for calling "occupy" a disgrace to the political left. I do agree with miller that there are a lot of people protesting just because they like the idea of shouting and raising a fist. Ask them what they're about and something vague comes out. I called them a disgrace because I saw disgraceful behavior in Oakland and conspiracy nuts in San Francisco and others who want the stock market to collapse. How good was that for the 99 last time. Also the big thing bothering me lately is that these people AREN'T the 99%. Most of the criticisms I have heard of this "movement" have been from other people on the left.

Let's play a game. We start with me creating money out of worthless paper backed by no commodity. IOUs. In this game I am the ONLY source of money. Now I tax your food. I tax your house even if you live off of the land. Now you owe me money. Like the game so far? The only place you can get money is from me. So you have to borrow the money from guess who? Me again. I want to be paid back with interest. You borrow $100 to pay your taxes, give the hundred to the government, but now you owe me $110. Do you understand why we have a problem yet? In this system that we refer to as money is really DEBT. So, go get a job so you can hold more debt.

NO, that sucks. I dont like that game. So why are you mad at the 1%? Your game indicates that NOBODY has money they own. Or are you WRONG?

[-] 1 points by yarichin (269) 12 years ago

Since all money is really government debt. The money you have in your pocket has the effect of you loaning the government money interest free. The things you buy may have value but anything. Same as if I gave you an IOU for a car but I had no car to give you. The 1% own the government and the printing presses that make the money.

If George Soros owns the printing presses why does he give to MOVEON.org to support social programs when he could just print the money and give it to everyone so they wouldnt need social programs?

[-] 1 points by yarichin (269) 12 years ago

Because if he printed money on it he would be put in prison. The 1% do not like competition.

[-] 0 points by mynameismoe (153) 12 years ago

Oh,,,,, he owns the government that owns the printing press but cant use it..... interesting. Thanks for that update.

[-] 1 points by yarichin (269) 12 years ago

I think you missed the point, does he own the printing presses in the US Mint or the treasury which printing press does he own? Every newspaper in America is likely to have a printing press. But they do not have the sole authority to print money.

This is what you posted ((The 1% own the government and the printing presses that make the money.)) You didnt include newspapers. My God,,,,, are you drunk?

[-] 1 points by yarichin (269) 12 years ago

Newspapers do not print money with their presses. The printing presses that make the money are in the Treasury, the US Mint. The paper money you hold was not printed by the New York Times. It is a Federal Reserve Bank Note. (read it!) A note is an IOU. A BANK is a business. OWS is a run on the banks by people who know they got ripped off, but they mostly don't understand How they got ripped off.
