Forum Post: Forward Escape

I have been watching these protests since the beginning. I have been to Occupy Wall Street and I'm saddened. I would love nothing more than to see people understand. But they will not. You will change nothing unless you get your facts, and your consciousness, straight. You call yourselves the 99%. Why not the 99.9%? The past inaction of the 99.9% has allowed this world to come into being. And now, after the tides of nature have gained momentum...you decide to fight it? You decide to fight with direct democracy and no understating of our world? You now begin to form factions, to create groups of disagreement. You will fail on your own merits. And so, I'm forced to give you talking points. They are as follows.

1. Socialism or communism on the STATE LEVEL will never work without a human consciousness that is far beyond ours. That point may never be reached.
2. Centralized power, or the state, has provided the forced organization that has brought us out of primitivism.
3. A point comes in the life of any intelligent species where centralization begins to look like an addiction curve. The positives simply begin to be eroded by the negatives. That point is now.
4. There was a time when statism could advance and protect it's people. That time is gone. Ask yourself why a term such as anti-Americanism exists. You are represented by your government, and many hate your government and consider you from the same thread. Because you align with your state, your government. I have news for you. The world is more fragile than it has ever been. You may still follow the cold-war mantra that nuclear weapons are WMDs. Nuclear weapons create damage to the world - to a degree that profits would be lost en mass. Your fear should be of that which surrounds you. Biological weapons do not require industry. They require an angry, intelligent third-world individual with an axe to grind. Minimal capital investment, maximum damage. Aligning yourself with a murderous state is like tying yourself to a lightning rod, you are asking for be struck.
5. We fight for a resource we do not need. Oil. And yet, oil companies continue to drill because if they decided to harness the abundant geothermal energy in existence, they would succumb to an abundance of supply (nearly infinite as per our uses) and marginal profits.
6. Every resource we need to create a home for every american is already in existence, on our land. We have coal, hence we have carbon. As does everyone. A house built out of graphene and aerogel would be so atomically minimalist that everyone could likely have ten vacation homes if they pleased. There is no scarcity of resources.
7. Let me say it again. As per our technological age, there is NO SCARCITY of any needed resource.
8. A true, moral, and organic government derives its power from the bottom-up, not the top-down. This is anarchy in a sense. Not the anarchy you pit against socialism and communism. Anarchy is a decentralization of state, not an alternative form of state (State-communism or State-socialism). It is not chaos. Chaos does not exist when rational humans drive their world.
9. You do not need a state to protect you from poisonous products as you may see in China. Your regulatory bodies regulate nothing. Ask yourself why out of 100,000+ industrial chemicals in existence, that not even 500 have been thoroughly and scientifically tested.
10. Ask yourself why you have no idea as to the solution to this madness. And ask yourself who does. Drop your petty ego, and say "I don't have the answer". Then ask who does. There are people out there to guide you and treat you as a worthy inhabitant of this planet. Natural selection has gone on long enough. We have succumbed to "God" for too long. It's time to realize we should choose our own path and our own consciousness. If that's too much for all of you, then give up now. You will not win anything without true enlightenment and a destruction of what you call the "self".
