You need to have an endpoint to accomplish and have implemented in the end. You should demand from banks and financial institutions no lobbying and no political contributions for two presidential election cycles (for 8 years). This will make the true democracy function on a level playing field.

Yes, this thing needs focus, organization, leadership, etc... and it needs these things quick.

I also agree that the single issue has to do with the money in Washington, I just think we should demand anything from the banks. We need to demand change in Washington, change that eliminates, or at least severely curbs the money in Washington.

Yes, after that we might get our representative democracy back.

Occupiers should rally around one cause and it is not singling out a couple interest groups and prevent them from lobbying. It should be reworking the voting system so that elected officials are held accountable for their performance at work like the rest of us are.

Instant Runoff Voting will solve almost all of the problems we are concerned about. I challenge you to learn as much about IRV as you can and champion it for Presidential, Congressional, state and local election systems.

Yes! Demands are necessary. If Occupy WallStreet wants to be successful, then state your purpose(s).
