I really dont get this. Why is this bad?
If the military loses $500,000,000 to build a new fighter plane that we don't need, let the republiclan in congress try to explain why we have to add that money back in 2013
If the republiclans refuse to cut the tax rates for the 98% let them explain why

Having said this, it's important to keep in mind that while the term “cliff” indicates an immediate disaster at the beginning of 2013, the impact of the changes - while destructive over a full year - will be gradual at first.

What's more, Congress can act to change laws retroactively after the deadline. As a result, the fiscal cliff won't necessarily be an impediment to growth even if Congress doesn't address the issue until after 2013 has already begun.

By the time winter 2013 comes around, Wall St will be due more stimulus, via QE4, which could finally be the final nail in the coffin to set off big time inflation.

But its nothing another war cant fix!!!

QE is seperate from Congress, and has taken over the role of propping up the economy.

We are either going to get more of it, and risk massive inflation, or dont do it and go into another recession. Congress is incapapable of addressing the underlying problems in this fucked up economy.

more people need to read up on monetary policy.

It's literally based on giving trillions to banks and corporations.

Anyone who doesn't understand this process, please research Alan Grayson and Dennis Kucinich on monetary policy.

Friend of mine just got his first paycheck of the new year and the fiscal cliff drama. $100 less bucks in it. Biweekly, but still....$100 bucks.

Thank you Government for another job well done.

Unreal. #firethemall

There was a 2% "tax cut" that was designed to expire now
