why would the federal government need to insure your deposit? the claim is fdic is not funded by congressional appropriations. the banks pay for it - WITH YOUR DEPOSITS - the system is a scam
thats like you paying for homeowners insurance that a bank requires you to have if your LTV is a certain rate.
If you want no insurance on ur deposits then don't put them in an FDIC account and get a higher yield. No1 is stopping you.
you wouldn't need a bank to "own" a home if you just take it and arm yourself well enough to fight off any army that tries to take it back - that's real ownership
