I just read a conversation between two people on this forum, discussing the difference between skilled and unskilled labor, hours, the economy ect, ect. It became clear after about the 15th comment that neither of the two had any experience with actual hands on labor, skilled or otherwise. At least not in the since that they have ever depended on it for survival. The first thing you can do to stick up for the working class is to not pretend you're a working class person when you aren't. Secondly, don't pretend to know what working class people need or want, ask us and we'll tell you. The fact that any of you would pretend to deserve the title of working class when you aren't shows that you too think very little of the working class. We earned that title, don't be a douchebag.

I'm a builder.

I started out stacking timber that another man was cutting to length on a saw bench. Actually, when I was seven, I was helping the builders next door to my family home, by carrying bricks two at a time for five dollars a day.

How's my credentials stacking up, Richard?

I actually like your name choice. I also like to build and create things. From boats to computers to reviving old cars and houses. Na, I wasn't talking about you though if thats what you mean. They know who they are.
