Yep. Export weapons of peace = Wind Turbines, Solar Panels, Desalinization equipment, irrigation equipment etc.

This is how foreign aid should be run. Export green technology developed and made here in the USA. Buy it from our Business's ( small business 1st ) at fair market prices not profiteering prices.

Stop throwing money and arms at problems.

FDR wanted to do something like this before he died. He wanted to take the immense industrial war machine, that is, the arms manufacturing industry that allowed us to win WW2, and convert it to produce machinery to improve the infrastructure of developing countries.

A national bank would allow us to provide the credit to build such equipment, than as the foreign countries integrated the equipment into their economies, the revenue from the increased productivity would be used to pay of the credit to America.

We should indeed try to carry out this plan once again.

Yes we should carry out the export of material aid purchased from American Business by the Government instead of the Government sending money to be stolen or misused or sending arms bought from war profiteers.

Export the support of peace and prosperity, it bears better fruit.

This is a good topic. It has always seemed more rational in my eyes to focus on tools of creation and innovation as opposed to those of destruction and death. But there is currently more money to be made in the latter. I truly hope this will not always remain the case.

You sell weapons to your allies. Then you can sell weapons to your ally's enemies in order to justify pushing-off even more weapons and defenses onto your allies. It's Supply and De-man, you supply people with weapons and de-man the population.

We could rebuild our manufacturing industry this way, and enter a market that is not so competitive like that of the inexpensive consumer products the Chinese make.

We need more heavy machines for our own economy as well.

And reason for us "ALL" to sound off, cry foul and point out the proper direction and coarse of action to support/take.
