The answer and solution to the culture of pure greed and selfishness is simple, practical, logical, and it works both on a local level and a global level. But before I explain how to solve this: there need to be a common shared understanding of what the basic problem IS.
To begin with,: you need to put the problem of global capitalist greed and consumption into its proper historical context and perspective.
The concentration of wealth and power into the fewest hands possible has been a constant dynamic and theme of human civilization ever since civilization was invented. Ever since human sedentary lifestyles began to accumulate wealth and power, the hierarchical pyramids of civilized wealth and power have grown... ALONG WITH the increasing accumulation of the human population on this planet.
In fact: the root of all concentration of civilized power and wealth originates from the dynamic of human apes overpopulating the planet with too many people.
In fact: the basic REASON that humans who were hunter-gatherers switched to a sedentary lifestyle where they did not travel and sat in one place was BECAUSE of humans overpopulating the earth to such a degree of overpopulation that there was nowhere they could go because wherever they went, they found other tribes of humans already living there...
Because humans fucked too much and still do... and had too many babies and still do... they ran out of new territory to expand into. Anywhere they went: they found themselves encroaching on other tribes who had already been living there for ages.
This is the original root cause of the invention of war.
If humans had not fucked like rabbits for over 100,000 fucking years: war would never have been invented, because there would have been so few human apes that they could have easily found new hunting grounds to live on without encroaching into another tribe's territory. If humans could have controlled their own numbers: like many animals can and do:... the concept of warfare wouldn't exist today... that is, except for insects like ants: which goes to show you how stupid you have to be in order to go to war and start killing your own species in the mass slaughtering that war is.
Ants have the same failure to control their own numbers as humans do. They constantly overpopulate themselves and make war upon each others nests or overpopulated cities where they capture slaves and bring them back and force the slaves to work for them.
But at least ants have an ecological reason to spread and colonize the entire earth which is useful and intelligent. They perform many useful ecological functions. They are instrumental to aerating the soil, decomposing and processing organic material and are an important food source of many other species.
Humans overpopulation on the other hand is not ecologically useful. In fact it is ecologically destructive.
Do you agree? If you do, then you will understand the logic which explains many other things logically.
but my point, trying to get to the point. since the problems are so complex and people cannot be made to make themselves into polymaths (most people are just not capable). i began to think to myself how do we fix this then. and then i realized the 5th grade social studies lesson on what makes up a man and society. rule #1 belief system and then it hit me it was so simple, we must transform mans belief system using science and when i looked at the science i saw the quantum/mystic correlation and then i began to dig and man this is the fucking rabbit hole!!!! the applications could not be more relevant the truth could not be more blinding, (it was like discovering the gospel of thomas which by the way is simply amazing no wonder they wanted it destroyed from all history only to be found amongst the dead sea scrolls in 1947), taking theoretical physics, neuroscience, psychology, biology, metaphysics, along with the ancient esoteric mystical texts, traditions, and shamanic ceremonies, and techniques from the four corners of the globe and adjunct psychedelics, marijuana, nitrous oxide, deprivation tanks, strobe lights, visual and audio displays and performance, meditation, yoga, tai chi and using all the tools available to empower one spiritually to a transcendent experience. the transformation of the human belief system after such an experience is complete and total this is the way and once people start applying these principal ideas of mine you will see a tidal wave of change throughout the the entire planet. i just thought of what to call the theory the three s's lol science, spirituality, psychedelic. the best part is non-static nature of this philosophy it can transform as our knowledge increases and become even more powerful.
i agree some what. but i believe trade and the domestication of livestock and the advent of agriculture had much to do with the formation of the first "cities". i think a large part of OWS problem is the problems are so vast, complex, and interconnected you must have a polymathic background just to be able to wrap your brain around it. and freaking super polymathic genius to explain this shit to the dumb monkeys sulking at the bar or the church or the trolls lurking on this site. i think if most people were aware of the correct information they still have to have someone else connect the dots. kind of like talking about jfk or 9-11 or ufos or nwo most people can not connect the dots. it is really insane. but we stop learning after college. we love to fancy ourselves as a new rome but romans were much more dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and truth than these fucks. most people have know idea what a polymath even is and when you explain it to them they say "like a jack of all trades, master of none" um no like some one who is knowledgeable and wise in multiple subjects. fucking hairless monkey babbling idiots.
