Forum Post: Equality and Fairness = Peace on Earth.

Without equality and fairness all systems will fail. It happened to the Roman Empire, and it will happen to capitalism. Civilization will break free of all forms of tyranny. The human heart is a peaceful heart and will not rest until there is peace.

Please spread the news about www.copblock.org & www.adamvstheman.com which is two groups of very dedicated people out on the front lines fighting the growing tyrannical para militarized police state and corrupt governmental system for our rights. Thanks!

Very true. I think the American Empire is starting to collapse.

or you could demand your country back...

It might not be too late...

This is the chance of a lifetime. It's been 20 years since Ross Perot and America was ready for a third party then. Maybe at the end of the day we won't need a third party but there is NO doubt we need the NGA. If this window of Opportunity closes... I doubt I'll live to see another. History will look back and wonder what did they lose not holding that Third Continental Congress. What might they have gained?

This forum might not seem like much but most seedbeds don't look like much to the untrained eye.

Be a Link. Time is short...

Thanks. You are correct. I think the forum is great. There is a lot of good info here, and OWS still acts as the main centre for the worldwide Occupy Movement. I think all the Occupies are doing things in a slightly different way, but the direction is all the same.

It would be great to have the country back, as you said. In fact, it is the same with all countries. It is not just the USA that is losing its way. For example, I personally hate the self imposed isolationism and xenophobia of the European Union. We are getting to that confused state, like we were 100 years ago. Hopefully we can do things differently in 2012 than in 1912, with the Titanic disaster, followed by a bigger disaster in 1914!

And the Federal Reserve Act sandwiched in between? NOOOOOOOOO

lol. Soon, and one day a Global General Assembly where no one is a nobody.

Farewell

[-] 1 points by OccupyLink (529) 12 years ago

Exactly. The Federal Reserve Act caused a lot of the problems we are having now!

So, what is your definition of "equality and fairness" seeing that you take stock in that comment?

[-] 0 points by FriendlyObserverA (610) 12 years ago

Do you really need to ask !

[-] 0 points by SteveKJR (-497) 12 years ago

Yes, because people like to use those words becaue they sound good - so that is why I am asking.

[-] 0 points by FriendlyObserverA (610) 12 years ago

If I have to explain to you equality and fairness, without first hearing your version. You would be jerking my chain all day.

That is just silly. Their will never be peace on earth. Mans heart is deceitfully wicked. Their are no righteous, not even one. Ty Cobb used to slide in to people, with his sharpened spikes. And he is in the hall of fame.

[-] 0 points by FriendlyObserverA (610) 12 years ago

That's very arrogant of you to paint all mankind with the same brush.

[-] 0 points by Kirby (104) 12 years ago

You know of some very righteous individuals? I find that hard to believe. It's arrogant of you to say that any exist. Or maybe just plain naïveté.

When the Minneapolis bridge fell into the Mississippi river people dove into the river to help those fallen.

Another example: the pilot who landed in the Hudson river very heroic.

Your insults are unjust.

[-] 0 points by Kirby (104) 12 years ago

You miss my point. Many people do acts of heroism. They are no doubt to be congratulated. Thomas Jefferson, unquestionably a great founder, had children by his slave, and denied these children. Gandhi slept with young girls. Martin Luther, the great reformer, was an anti-Semite.

[-] 0 points by FriendlyObserverA (610) 12 years ago

Your pointwas all people were evil. I disagree with you.

[-] 0 points by Kirby (104) 12 years ago

Over 7 billion. My point is even the best in our society, have evilness in their hearts. Look at places that were liberated as the nazis were beaten back, in WWII. Many people that sympathized with the nazis or protected them, were killed in revenge by their own neighbors. Many of our good American soldiers, were involved in murderous activity upon the enemy. Man is not basically good, although I wish it not true.

This is a very important point you brought up.

I believe humans respond to kindness warmly and to meaness they respond harshly.

Kindness is the seed of happiness. Meaness is the seed of anger. If you are mean to someone continually they will eventually respond to you with anger. As for what happened in response to ww2. We all understand the motive for revenge. If you are kind to someone continually they will eventually respond to you with joy.

These two examples describe human nature and the human heart. Sometimes we are quick to say a harsh word. But hesitant to say a kind word. It is part of our culture our conditioning which we must change deliberately.

Think of life as a garden. What you plant and how you take care of it is what you will have. Peace and happiness is surely attainable. And given a choice everyone would choose peace over war.

Thank you for your correspondence.

Indeed you make great points. I bite my tongue many times. Many times I wish I did. An old proverb says that a gentle word turns away wrath. These ancient words are still true today.

Capitalism is the heart of fairness. Labor and capital are rewarded by markets, which express the collective will of humanity.

Socialism is the heart of darkness: someone's idea of fairness enforced at gunpoint, with the countless dead of the gulags and Cambodian killing fields to prove it. Socialists are terrorists, first and foremost.

Mass muderers should get the same pay as community organizers. They are equally as valuable.
