What exactly does OccupyWallStreet want? What are your expected results? How can a leadership organization make change? The absence of leadership is the equivalent to anarchy. Thanks for taking the time to enlighten me.

In all the chaos of different ideas the unifying ones stand out that everyone can agree on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8o3peQq79Q I guess it's a sketch and it's probably being expanded every day. :)

But the best thing about OWS is that all the people communicating face to face and sharing their information so everybody learn about everything.

Nice question that seems rarely discussed. However I cant speak for the entire movement.

OUR government has become the means by which corporations, unions, and the wealthy influence the political process for their own gain. Because of this the voice of the people has been drowned out. Money now qualifies as speech therefore politicians no longer listen to the voice of reason but, rather their own self interest and those of the special interest.

As Napoleon said of finance, "Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain."

With the latest reports on congressional insider trading(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x95uC_wzUX4) and the increasing money spent on lobbying, elections, and influencing the political landscape, it is evident that congress no longer works for the people.

With that said, It is essential that we march to congress and demand(mind you this is a tentative list):

  1. Campaign Finance reform - Even if it takes a constitutional amendment to end corporate personhood, the disproportionate influence of money in politics must be diminished. Decision making should not ride on a dollar amount.
  2. Passage of the STOCK act - Politicians in congress cannot be trusted to formulate policy that is good for America and not just for their own personal wealth.

Those to me are the most important only because unless we must set aside personal grievances in order to address a more pressing need to demand the return of the Representation that has been taken from us. Until such time, nothing can be accomplished in a spirit of true discourse.

This movement is hostile toward the notion of leadership. Its going to take some time and thought to see how this progresses.

I think a voting system across all occupations would be sufficient to get an idea of what people truly want. This would send a strong message to the establishment and be a truly representative way of figuring out what we all want!

we want to deny Obamas responsibility and convince the world its the systems fault. it''s the banks that accept his bailouts, its the corporations who accept his bailouts.

corrupt as they are and everyone knows it, we wish to make it an issue no one can avoid until we find a way to stop it. the corruption.

but most of all, it's to turn the blame away from the head of the snake.
