We need to demand an overhaul that gets money completely out of government. Of course that might be difficult in practice, but really, the only way to have honest government is to take out all of the material incentives. No, I don't have any ideas for how to do this, but there are plenty of smart people in the US who could come up with some good ideas to start with.
what we need as well as lofty goals is something that is achievable. If we don't have some kinds of demands that can be meet we are going to look like fools in the eyes of the media
