Forum Post: Elect candidates for the 99% in the 2012 elections

On Nov 06, 2012 elections will be held for all 435 U.S. house of representatives in congress and 33 seats in the U.S. senate.
Americans all over our country agree with the OWS principles of getting our govt back from corruption and returning it to the people.
Let people all over America organize the recuitment of honest non-affiliated candidates for their districts. Representatives that will pledge to get money and lobbyist out of our govt. Representatives who will do what is best for the majority of the constituents in their districts, not only the powerful ones.
With an 18% approval rating for congress, I think enough voters finally realize that change must happen before it's too late. They now know both dems & reps are controlled by money and corruption. Voters are ready for a choice who is for the 99% and cannot be bought.
If only 10% win, that would still be 43 in congress who will give the people a voice for change . A new beginning that breaks the two party facade of choice.
That is playing the politicians game and wont fix the govt. politicians are corrupted after they get in office as well.
It really doesnt matter who is elected. You just need to make whoever is in power listen to you. Because everyone in power is suppose to be listening to you. technically all politicians are committing treason because they are not representing the people but who ever gives them the most money.
The political system needs to be changed so that it again works the way it was meant too. Thus we dont need a party, we need all parties to represent us.

Exactly, but many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various socioeconomic demands at the same time, regardless of party, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves; that is, using a Focused Direct Democracy organized according to our current Occupations & Generations. The FIRST step in Natural Social Law is to CONTROL the Banks as Bank Owner-Voters. If you do not, you will inevitably be UNJUSTLY EXPLOITED by the Top 10% Management Group of Business & Government who have a Legitimate Profit Motive, just like you, to do so.

These things affect everyone and we all need to understand that. I think that the party system is irrelevant at this point.
