"The hypocrisy of the war on drugs is outrageous when compared to the amount of drug trafficking that benefits the CIA and international banking system. The son of a convicted notorious mobster, John Gotti Jr, when asked in court if the family still dealt drugs cracked, "No, we can't compete with the government."

Today in Afghanistan, American troops have been seen guarding poppy fields used to make heroin. Those fields were all but wiped out by 2001 when the Taliban destroyed them and forbade that agricultural pursuit. Now they're flourishing again after the American occupation.

This doesn't make sense despite all the mainstream reports that American troops are protecting the poppy farmers from the bad guys. Internet sites such as Prison Planet, Info Wars, The Political Coffeehouse and others report otherwise. They connect the CIA and US military to restarting the poppy fields in Afghanistan in 2002, increasing poppy growth by over 650 percent."

Laws made by the 1% & their puppets are intended only to oppress the 99% - the 1% play on both sides of the fence, as their greed leads them, with impunity!

Prison Planet and Info Wars are hardly credible sources.

That said, there have been credible reports of CIA involvement with drug running in the past, including this from wiki

  • In 1996 Gary Webb wrote a series of articles published in the San Jose Mercury News, which investigated Nicaraguans linked to the CIA-backed Contras who had smuggled cocaine into the U.S. which was then distributed as crack cocaine into Los Angeles and funneled profits to the Contras. The CIA was aware of the cocaine transactions and the large shipments of drugs into the U.S. by the Contra personnel and directly aided drug dealers to raise money for the Contras. Although he heavily implied CIA involvement Webb never claimed to have made a direct link between the CIA and the Contras. Moreover Webbs articles were heavily attacked by many media outlets who questions the validity of his claims, although the unusual response lead some to question if the CIA was involved. On December 10, 2004 Gary Webb committed suicide, dying of two gunshot wounds to the head.

It should be noted that it is highly suspect when an individual suffers two gunshots to the head - usually if the first isn't fatal it is sufficient to incapacitate or to dissuade them from further violence to themselves - at least in the short term.

Thank you for this! In my view, OWS is about 2 fundamental things. Bringing new ideas to the table for change that can subsequently be acted upon, and EXPOSING the degree to which the government and ruling elite are criminals. The masses are aware to some degree that there is corruption, but they are painfully unaware of the magnitude of criminal behaviour that has taken place for decades now.

The government and ruling elite are at the core of drug trafficking, gambling, and worst of all child sex trafficking. We're talking billions of dollars here. This is why with the massive amounts of surveillance that takes place, they can come down on any individual who is making minor law offences on a computer, but somehow, mysteriously can never get to the bottom of the most illegal and obscene offences of child trafficking etc. Because THEY'RE the ones doing it. They don't give a damn about us, we are nothing more to them than a walking bar code.
