Forum Post: Driving Today From OH to NYC

I'm thinking about going to OWS today after work. I tried recruiting others to come with me, but all my friends are too busy/apathetic. I've decided to go alone.
Should I go all by myself? What should I bring? Also I wouldn't get there til 1 or 2 am and I am a little paranoid about parking my car in Brooklyn or Queens or NJ at that hour and then trying to make my way to liberty park. Any advice appreciated!
i've seen info on facebook saying that there is free weekend parking in other areas outside manhattan such as long island city, queens, etc. Any additional info?
You need to know what area you are parking in before you park there. There are time restrictions on how long you can leave your car on most streets in all three areas. You will get ticketed, towed or booted - all three of those amounting to a great deal of expense.
