This content is user submitted and not an official statement

If you want to draw attention to your movement, nothing will project further than for you all to appear shockingly normal. Shockingly normal.

Wear the clothes that you wore to work before being laid off. Shave. Groom your hair. Carry a briefcase. Whatever you do, look normal and get on a camera.

American's need to see, not only your determination, but your normalcy.

Good idea. MLK required that the protesters wear their sunday best. I love the ideals of OWS, but there is a barrier to actually associating with protesters because of what you said. If it's true for me it is definitely true for most of the country.

Yes. Why appeal to the people who already agree with you? It's suicidal and the fate of all liberal movements.

Yeah - it's pointless to preach to the converted. I think it ends up being divisive, because we agree on our basic premises, and look for things we disagree on. Maybe it's in our nature?

I think we need the protesters to get on the internet. Out here, we're just as anonymous as the next guy. If you have dreadlocks or posting in your bathrobe, nobody knows.

I think everybody should do a Patty Hurst and go all SLA on the scene, that would get some attention,

I'm a little more interested in June.

Right, I meant beaver as in "beaver"

Glad you clarified that.
