Protesting Wall Street and a banking system that is collapsing and not going to exist in its current state a year or two from now is futile, like protesting the sun coming up in the morning. The world is heading rapidly towards economy collapse, the very banks you are railing against a going to be bankrupt and collapse along with the rest of us. Unlike the 20's & 30's our urban society is not set up for people to grow their own food & survive. The 99% will become completely dependent on the one thing that remains, the government.
What happens when BOA and CITI, GS & MS all fail, when everyone’s retirements and life savings are wiped out? Will blaming them be enough? Does the Federal Reserve print more money and bail them out, or do we let the 99% starve to death? What happens when the government & Federal Reserve, the agency which is unelected, unaccountable and omnipotent steps in and buys up everything to save "us' and ends up owning everything…
Ask yourself, what will everyone do when a government that just publicly assassinated an American citizen without trial and due process, simply by calling they were a “terrorist” owns/runs everything?
Protest the Federal Reserve, protest the Obama admin, (the last two Bush's as well), protest the lack of oversight and accountability, but don't waste time protesting the dying bull, because once it is dead, there is not going to be any meat left on the corpse for you to eat from.
