No I will donate to the homeless which I do all throughout the year and especially when it's cold. THEY need it. If you're cold......GO HOME
THINK about what you just said... You donate to the Homeless.. .. WHY do you think they ARE homeless in the first place?.. Other than drug problems, most were taken out of the halfway houses that Republicans voted to close.. leaving Millions in America to the Streets and parks to live with Mental disabilities, and no more medical attention. Or, they Lost their Jobs!.... .. For Cryin out loud... if you Actually Knew what was going on around you .. you would be 'Beating the Streets' with the rest of us!
.. You ARE donating to the 99% already, you know that too.. right? ( ironic, isnt it?)

Knew what was going on around me? I'm sure I am old enough to be your grandmother. I was raised low-middle class, I married into a very rich 1% family where the father was the President of a very well known bank, I divorced and now back to low-middle class. I have a kid that is developmentally disabled who lived in a psych hospital for 6 years. She was arrested by an aid that didn't like my disabled daughter pulling her hair. She spent 6 months in jail.
I agree that REGAN had the mental institutions closed with the belief that was agreed by all dems that "they" had the right to live amongst everyone and treated fairly. Most of that is true...but I am saying from personal experience, that doesn't work for every person...my daughter included.
There are others that are homeless due to the fact that they are lazy and want hand outs. I have two family members like that.
I will NOT donate to the OWS people because they have homes to go to at night, they are getting fed some fancy meals, they are being given warm clothing, etc.
Don't you dare tell me to look around me. I've suffered my share over the last 10 years with the loss of both my parents, my ex died, my daughter got thrown into an institution and drugged up because she is "different", I lost my home due to a flood, I lost my car due to a flood, I lost my clothing due to a flood, I had a "good Christian man" take advantage of my large heart and took me for every penny I had. I have credit collectors after me because of that man and because my ex died I got stuck with his debts. I had to move when I divorced from just above NYC to the western part of NYS......THE poorest county in NY......My town is full of people who are on government assistance.
But you won't hear me yelling about the 1%. My problems are mine. Bless the wealthy for what they have. They do NOT have to share it with me.
Bambi... no disrespect intended, and no one is trying to offend here, (My age, is most likely yours, My firs protest was to get the voting Age own from 21 to 18.. ).. i understand you are suffering hardship, and your Family has had incredible challenges... .. I sympathize.., however the 99% could Echo your life in a Multitude of variables.. you are NOT alone.... .. I too am with the Lowest of the Low income, retired, Soc. Sec... and have owned and Run a non Profit, Membership Free Web site for over 7 years.. I may not be able to work physically, but i can Sure use what MIND i have to make this a Better World ..It is our Legacy! What we Learn, and What we Do right here, right now.. is How that can be Accomplished.. ... Rest Assured, YOU and I and the others (99%), are IN this position, not because someone is more Well Off than We are... it's about... HOW they profited off the Backs of the Middle Class, and used the Laws against the Lowest Income class thru Criminal Activity... and Political Corruption.
I wish you nothing but the best.. And, how i know to sincerely wish you that is.. because I HAVE taken that 'Good Look Around' me.
